Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran kebugaran jasmani berbasis permainan yang dimodifikasi (MOFIT) untuk siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 90 siswa dari tiga sekolah di Wilayah Kota Tangerang Selatan yang dipilih melalui cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes kebugaran yang diadaptasi (Harvard Step Test, Wall Squat Test, Press-ups Test, Sit and Reach Test) serta kuesioner respons siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada seluruh komponen kebugaran yang ditargetkan: daya tahan kardiovaskular (penurunan rata-rata 29,078 denyut per menit, p < 0,001), kekuatan otot (peningkatan rata-rata 19,200 detik, p < 0,001), daya tahan otot (peningkatan rata-rata 7,622 repetisi, p < 0,001), dan fleksibilitas (peningkatan rata-rata 3,002 cm, p < 0,001). Respons siswa sangat positif (91,7% persetujuan), dengan peningkatan antusiasme (96,7%) dan kesenangan (95,6%). Guru melaporkan bahwa model ini dapat diadaptasi dengan berbagai fasilitas sekolah yang bervariasi. Model MOFIT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani sambil menumbuhkan keterlibatan siswa, menawarkan alternatif yang layak untuk metode konvensional dalam pendidikan jasmani.*****This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of a modified game-based physical fitness learning model (MOFIT) for junior high school students. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The sample consisted of 90 students from three schools in Ciputat District, selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using adapted fitness tests (Harvard Step Test, Wall Squat Test, Press-ups Test, Sit and Reach Test) and student/teacher response questionnaires. The results showed significant improvements in all targeted fitness components: cardiovascular endurance (mean reduction of 29.078 bpm, p < .001), muscle strength (mean increase of 19.200 seconds, p < .001), muscle endurance (mean increase of 7.622 repetitions, p < .001), and flexibility (mean increase of 3.002 cm, p < .001). Student responses were highly positive (91.7% approval), with increased enthusiasm (96.7%) and enjoyment (95.6%). Teachers reported the model as adaptable to varying school facilities. The MOFIT model proves effective in enhancing physical fitness while fostering student engagement, offering a viable alternative to conventional methods in physical education.
