Suci Hanum Humairoh. 2025. Analisis Wacana Kritis Terhadap Unggah #TempoThread di Media Sosial X Tentang Bantuan Sosial Wakil Presiden Gibran. Skripsi. Jakarta. Program Studi Sastra Indonesia. Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Melalui akun @tempodotco yang mengangkat topik bantuan sosial oleh Wakil Presiden Gibran Rakabuming Raka, penelitian ini berupaya mengungkap strategi wacana, struktur kognisi sosial, serta praktik kekuasaan, akses dan ideologi dalam utasan media sosial X (dulu Twitter). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan teori analisis wacana kritis Teun A. van Dijk. Tiga dimensi utama yakni teks, kognisi sosial, dan konteks sosial yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data berupa konten utas #TempoThread yang telah dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil temuan pada analisis tiga tataran dipaparkan sebagai berikut. Pada tataran teks, Tempo.co menggunakan strategi wacana, seperti diksi kritis, metafora, dan kalimat tanya retoris serta deklaratif untuk melukiskan gambaran negatif atas tindakan bantuan sosial Gibran. Pada tataran kognisi sosial, ditemukan empat skema dominan, di antaranya skema peran, diri, person, dan peristiwa yang membentuk model mental kritik. Pada tataran konteks sosial, Tempo.co membingkai tindakan Gibran sebagai bentuk penyimpangan kekuasaan yang mengabaikan aturan penyaluran bantuan sosial, sekaligus mencerminkan ideologi media yang kritis dan mengutamakan keterbukaan dan akuntabilitas. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa di era digital, media sosial telah berkembang menjadi platform bagi penciptaan dan penyebaran wacana kritis tentang perilaku politik simbolik. Through the @tempodotco account that raises the topic of social assistance by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, this research seeks to reveal discourse strategies, social cognition structures, as well as practices of power, access and ideology in social media threads X (formerly Twitter). This research uses a descriptive qualitative method and Teun A. van Dijk's critical discourse analysis theory. The three main dimensions of text, social cognition, and social context are used to analyse data in the form of #TempoThread thread content collected through observation and documentation techniques. The findings of the three-level analysis are presented as follows. At the text level, Tempo.co uses discourse strategies, such as critical diction, metaphors, and rhetorical and declarative question sentences to paint a negative picture of Gibran's social assistance actions. At the level of social cognition, four dominant schemas were found, including role, self, person, and event schemas that form the mental model of criticism. At the level of social context, Tempo.co framed Gibran's actions as a form of power deviation that ignored the rules for distributing social assistance, while reflecting the media's ideology of criticism and prioritising openness and accountability. This study shows that in the digital era, social media has developed into a platform for the creation and dissemination of critical discourse on symbolic political behaviour.
