Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang dilakukan berdasarkan rendahnya partisipasi mahasiswa angkatan 2022-2023 Program Studi Kosmetik Dan Perawatan Kecantikan pada program Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat minat mahasiswa pada program IISMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Kosmetik dan Perawatan Kecantikan angkatan 2022-2023 sebanyak 55 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang akan di analisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase keseluruhan minat mahasiswa terhadap program IISMA mencapai 73%, dengan kategori “Cukup berminat”. Analisis hasil minat berdasarkan angkatan didapatkan hasil, minat mahasiswa angkatan 2022 terhadap program IISMA memiliki persentase 72% dengan kategori “Cukup berminat” sedangkan pada angkatan 2023, minat mahasiswa terhadap program IISMA memiliki persentase 74% dengan kategori “Cukup berminat”. Adapun analisis minat mahasiswa berdasarkan aspek didapatkan hasil : aspek sikap (73%), motivasi (83%), bakat (64%), lingkungan pendidikan (70%), teman sebaya (70%), dan keluarga (79%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat awal mahasiswa Program Studi Kosmetik dan Perawatan Kecantikan terhadap program Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) masih berada dalam tahap minat situasional yang dipicu oleh faktor eksternal, namun belum berkembang menjadi minat individu yang bertahan lama. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student interest in the IISMA program. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Respondents in this study were 55 active students from the Cosmetics and Beauty Care Departement, batch 2022-2023. Data collection techniques involved questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The analysis results show that the average percentage of overall student interest in the IISMA program is 73%, categorized as “Moderately interested.” Analysis of interest based on year of class obtained results, the interest of 2022 students in the IISMA program has a percentage of 72% with the category “Moderately Interested” while in the 2023 class, student interest in the IISMA program has a percentage of 74% with the category “Moderately Interested”. The analysis of student interest based on aspects obtained results: aspects of attitude (73%), motivation (83%), talent (64%), educational environment (70%), peers (70%), and family (79%). It can be concluded that the initial interest of the students of the Cosmetics and Beauty Care Departement in the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) program is still at the stage of situational interest, triggered by external factors, but has not yet developed into a long-term individual interest.
