Nabail Azhim. 2025. Analisis Pergeseran Bentuk dan Makna Istilah Budaya pada Subtitling Anime “Make Heroin ga Oosugiru” Karya Takibi Amamori: Kajian Bandingan 2 Platform. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis istilah budaya, lalu membandingkan pergeseran bentuk, dan pergeseran makna yang terdapat dalam teks subtitling anime Make Heroin ga Oosugiru pada platform Netflix dan BStation. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya platform streaming online yang terus bermunculan untuk memberikan layanan streaming anime yang tentu saja memiliki penerjemahan subtitling yang berbeda-beda. Hal ini mengakibatkan adanya perbedaan dalam menerjemahkan suatu istilah budaya Jepang yang memiliki makna unik dan memerlukan perhatian khusus dalam menerjemahkannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data berupa dialog dan teks subtitling dari kedua platform. Data dikelompokkan berdasarkan kategori istilah budaya menurut Newmark dan dianalisis menggunakan teori pergeseran bentuk dan pergeseran makna menurut Simatupang. Hasil penelitian menemukan sebanyak 43 data istilah budaya dalam anime Makeine. Hasil analisis 43 data ini menunjukkan berbagai jenis pergeseran baik bentuk maupun makna seperti pergeseran morfem, pergeseran sintaksis, pergeseran kategori kata, pergeseran makna spesifik menjadi makna generik dan sebaliknya, serta pergeseran makna karena sudut pandang budaya. Berdasarkan analisis ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa platform BStation lebih banyak memiliki pergeseran bentuk dan makna serta terdapat hubungan antara sedikitnya pergeseran pada platform Netflix dengan penggunaan kata pinjaman. An Analysis of Form and Meaning Shifts of Cultural Terms in the Subtitling of the Anime “Make Heroin ga Oosugiru” by Takibi Amamori: A Comparative Study of Two Platforms. Thesis, Japanese Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, State University of Jakarta. This study aims to identify the types of cultural terms, and to compare the form shifts and meaning shifts found in the subtitle texts of the anime Make Heroin ga Oosugiru on the Netflix and BStation platforms. The background of this study is the growing number of online streaming platforms offering anime content, each with their own subtitling translations. This results in differences in translating Japanese cultural terms, which often have unique meanings and require special attention in translation. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a comparative approach. The data were collected using documentation techniques in the form of dialogue and subtitle texts from both platforms. The data were categorized based on Newmark’s classification of cultural terms and analyzed using the theories of form and meaning shifts by Simatupang. The findings reveal 43 data of cultural terms in the anime Makeine. The analysis of these 43 data points reveals various types of shifts in both form and meaning, including morpheme shifts, syntactic shifts, shifts in word class, shifts from specific to generic meaning and vice versa, as well as shifts influenced by cultural perspectives. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the BStation platform exhibits a greater number of form and meaning shifts, and there appears to be a correlation between the fewer shifts found on the Netflix platform and its use of loanwords.
