Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui framing pemberitaan vonis bebas Ronald Tannur dalam kasus kematian Dini Sera Afrianti yang dilakukan oleh media daring CNNIndonesia.com, Jawapos.com, dan Beritajatim.com. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik baca, simak, dan catat. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah framing model Robert N. Entman yang terdiri dari define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgment, dan treatment recommendation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa define problems pada CNNIndonesia.com menekankan pada respons formal lembaga hukum seperti langkah kasasi yang akan diambil JPU, Jawapos.com fokus pada dampak emosional masyarakat dengan menyoroti aksi demonstrasi dan penderitaan korban dan keluarganya, sedangkan Beritajatim.com menggunakan pendekatan kelembagaan yang menekankan pertentangan antara bukti forensik dengan putusan hakim serta langkah-langkah koordinasi antar lembaga. Pada diagnose causes, ketiga media sama-sama menunjukkan bahwa akar masalah adalah manipulasi bukti forensik dan pengabaian fakta hukum oleh hakim. Dalam make moral judgment, ketiga media menempatkan hakim sebagai pihak yang bersalah dan mendukung JPU sebagai pihak yang benar. Sedangkan pada treatment recommendation, ketiga media memiliki pandangan yang sama bahwa solusi utama adalah kasasi, sanksi pemberhentian hakim, dan perbaikan sistem pengawasan peradilan. Kata kunci: Analisis framing, Robert N. Entman, Vonis bebas Ronald Tannur, kasus kematian Dini Sera Afrianti, Media daring ***** This research was conducted to find out the framing of the news of Ronald Tannur’s acquittal in the case of Dini Sera Afrianti's death carried out by the online media CNNIndonesia.com, Jawapos.com, and Beritajatim.com. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of reading, listening, and recording techniques. The theory used in this research is Robert N. Entman's framing model which consists of define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgment, and treatment recommendation. The results showed that define problems on CNNIndonesia.com emphasized the formal response of legal institutions such as the cassation steps to be taken by the prosecutor, Jawapos.com focused on the emotional impact of the community by highlighting demonstrations and the suffering of victims and their families, while Beritajatim.com used an institutional approach that emphasized the conflict between forensic evidence and the judge's decision as well as coordination measures between institutions. In diagnose causes, the three media both indicate that the root of the problem is the manipulation of forensic evidence and neglect of legal facts by judges. In make moral judgment, the three media place the judge as the guilty party and support the prosecutor as the correct party. While in treatment recommendation, the three media have the same view that the main solution is cassation, sanctioning the dismissal of judges, and improving the judicial supervision system.
