Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen pembinaan peserta didik melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMAN 1 Cicurug. Fokus penelitian mencakup aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembinaan peserta didik melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan melibatkan Kepala sekolah, Wakil Kepala sekolah bidnag kesiswaan, koordinator ektrakurikuler, para guru, dan Pengurus OSIS. Dalam perencanaan dibahas mengenai evaluasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dari berdasarkan tahun sebelumnya dan kemudian menindak lanjuti nya, strukrtur baru jika diperlukan, penetapan jadwal, dan penetapan atau perencanaan anggaran. Pelaksanaan kegiatan berjalan rutin dan terstruktur dengan pengawasan melalui sistem piket dan pencatatan administrasi. Evaluasi dilakukan dalam dua tahapan, yakni evaluasi internal oleh masing-masing ekstrakurikuler dan evaluasi eksternal oleh pihak sekolah. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan meliputi potensi peserta didik yang besar, ketersediaan sarana prasarana, dan dukungan sekolah. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah keterbatasan anggaran, kurangnya pelatih aktif beberapa ekstrakurikuler, dan partisipasi siswa dan fasilitas ekstrakurikuler yang belum merata. Manajeme Pembinaan Peserta Didik Melalui kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler di SMAN 1 Cicurug secara umum sudah berjalan dengan baik. Namun ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperbaiki dan ditingkatkan seperti perhatian terhadap beberapa ekstrakurikuler yang masih belum aktif mengikuti banyak perlombaan. ***** This study aims to examine the management of student development through extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Cicurug. The focus of the research includes aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in student development through extracurricular programs. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the planning process involves the Principal, Vice Principal for student affairs, extracurricular coordinator, teachers, and the Student Council (OSIS) board. The planning stage includes reviewing the evaluation of the previous year’s activities and following up on them, revising structures if necessary, scheduling, and budgeting. The implementation of activities runs regularly and systematically with supervision through a duty schedule and administrative documentation. Evaluation is conducted in two stages: internal evaluation by each extracurricular unit and external evaluation by the school. The supporting factors for success include the high potential of students, availability of facilities and infrastructure, and strong support from the school. The inhibiting factors are limited funding, lack of active coaches for some extracurriculars, uneven student participation, and unequal access to facilities. Overall, the management of student development through extracurricular activities at SMAN 1 Cicurug is running well. However, there are still areas that need improvement, such as giving more attention to extracurriculars that have not actively participated in competitions.
