Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada siswa kelas III SDN Kramat Pela 09 Jakarta Selatan melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran puzzle. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan 4 kegiatan utama yang mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 25 siswa kelas III. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase perolehan data hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif pada siklus I yaitu 40%. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yaitu 88%. Sedangkan data pemantau tindakan guru pada pembelajaran IPS menggunakan media pembelajaran puzzle pada siklus I 73% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu 85%. Lalu data untuk pemantau aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran IPS menggunakan media pembelajaran puzzle pada siklus I 66% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 87%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media puzzle terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, serta hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. **** This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Social Studies (IPS) among third-grade students at SDN Kramat Pela 09, South Jakarta, through the use of puzzle-based learning media. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four main activities: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 25 third-grade students. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results showed that the percentage of students’ cognitive learning outcomes in the first cycle was 40%, which increased to 88% in the second cycle. Teacher activity in delivering Social Studies lessons using puzzle media improved from 73% in the first cycle to 85% in the second cycle. Similarly, student activity during the Social Studies learning process increased from 66% in the first cycle to 87% in the second cycle. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of puzzle media effectively enhances students’ motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes in Social Studies.
