Abstract

***** The research conducted was the development of an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) guidebook for use by guidance and counseling teachers to reduce emotional dysregulation in students who are victims of bullying at Tamansiswa Junior High School. The research used the Design Based Research (DBR) model by McKenney & Reeves (2012). The sample in the study consisted of two guidance and counseling teachers. Data collection in the study used document analysis, questionnaires, and interviews. Based on the results of the guidebook development, the introduction includes the background, the purpose of writing the guidebook, the intervention targets, the users of the guidebook, and the procedures for using the guidebook. Part I contains supporting theories on the issues discussed, including emotional dysregulation, its definition, dimensions, and influencing factors, as well as bullying, its definition, forms, impacts, and the effects of emotional dysregulation on bullying victims. Part II covers Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including assessment; methods, techniques, and timing of implementation; the structure of stages; and the counseling implementation plan matrix. Part III provides guidelines for conducting each session of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to reduce emotional dysregulation in student victims of bullying, including objectives, methods, timing, tools, question formats, and homework assignments for each session. The results of the book's feasibility test with media experts obtained a score of 61 out of 64 with a percentage of 95.31%, indicating that this book is very feasible. The results of the subject matter expert review scored 72 out of 84, with a percentage of 85.71%, which falls into the highly suitable category. Meanwhile, the results of the user readability assessment scored 98 out of 120, with a percentage of 81.66%, indicating that the book is highly suitable. Thus, the development of the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) guidebook to reduce emotional dysregulation in students who are victims of bullying is expected to help students recognize, acknowledge, and understand their emotions, accept their emotions, control their behavior when emotional, have effective strategies when emotional, and be able to concentrate and achieve their desired goals when emotional by learning to be compassionate toward themselves, not judging but observing thoughts and emotions, understanding the values they believe in, and taking committed actions in line with those values.
