Abstract
Perubahan iklim akibat peningkatan emisi karbon dioksida menjadikan ekosistem penyerap karbon seperti mangrove sangat penting. Mangrove mampu menyimpan karbon dalam jumlah besar, terutama pada tegakan pohon dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis vegetasi pohon mangrove, menganalisis parameter lingkungan yang memengaruhi simpanan karbon pohon, serta menganalisis jumlah simpanan karbon pohon di Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Angke Kapuk. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan purposive sampling dan non-destruktif, yakni pengukuran diameter pohon yang dikumpulkan dari tiga zona (dalam, tengah, luar) dengan empat plot per zona. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif melalui perhitungan alometrik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa di TWA Angke Kapuk terdapat A. marina dan R. mucronata, yang mendominasi adalah A. marina. Parameter lingkungan di TWA Angke Kapuk masih dalam kisaran yang optimal untuk pertumbuhan mangrove. Biomassa dan simpanan karbon R. mucronata sebesar 21,176 kg/pohon dan 249 Ton/ha, sedangkan A. marina sebesar 103,544 kg/pohon dan 1.217 Ton/ha. Total simpanan karbon di TWA Angke Kapuk mencapai 1.466 Ton/ha. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tegakan pohon dewasa berkontribusi cukup besar dalam penyimpanan karbon untuk mitigasi perubahan iklim dan upaya restorasi ekosistem mangrove. Kata kunci. Mangroves are able to store large amounts of carbon, especially in mature tree stands. This study aims to analyze the types of mangrove tree vegetation, analyze environmental parameters that affect tree carbon storage, and analyzing the amount of carbon stored in trees in the Angke Kapuk Nature Tourism Park (TWA).The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with a purposive sampling and non-destructive approach, namely measuring tree diameters collected from three zones (inner, middle, outer) with four plots per zone. Data analysis was carried out descriptively through allometric calculations. The results show that in the TWA Angke Kapuk there are A. marina and R. mucronata, which dominates A. marina. Environmental parameters in the TWA Angke Kapuk are still within the optimal range for mangrove growth. The biomass and carbon storage of R. mucronata are 21,176 kg/tree and 249 tons/ha, while A. marina is 103,544 kg/tree and 1,217 tons/ha. The total carbon storage in the Angke Kapuk Natural Park (TWA) reached 1,466 tons/ha. This research shows that mature tree stands contribute significantly to carbon storage for climate change mitigation and mangrove ecosystem restoration efforts. Keywords.
