Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai pengaruh media sosial dan pembelajaran mandiri guru sekolah menengah pertama swasta kecamatan pasar kemis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik analis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis adalah teknik analisis jalur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 241 guru dengan total keseluruhan 31 sekolah dan sampel sebanyak 150 responden yang dipilih melalui stratified random sampling. Penelitian difokuskan pada dua Aspek yang menentukan perilaku dalam mengolah kemajuan teknologi dalam sekolah; media sosial, pembelajaran mandiri dan pengembangan diri guru. Hasil analisis tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh langsung positif media sosial dan pengembangan diri guru, (2) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif terhadap pembelajaran mandiri dan pengembangan diri guru, (3) terdapat pengaruh langsung positif antara pembelajaran mandiri dan media sosial. Kata Kunci: Media Sosial, pembelajaran Mandiri, dan pengembangan diri guru/ This study aims to obtain information regarding the influence of social media and self-directed learning on the professional development of private junior high school teachers in the Pasar Kemis sub-district. This research employs a quantitative associative approach. The study was conducted using a survey method, with data analysis techniques employed to test the hypotheses through path analysis. The population consisted of 241 teachers across 31 schools, and a sample of 150 respondents was selected using stratified random sampling. The research focuses on two main aspects that influence behavior in utilizing technological advancements in schools: social media, self-directed learning, and teacher professional development. The results of the analysis concluded that:(1) There is a direct positive influence of social media on teacher professional development,(2) There is a direct positive influence of self-directed learning on teacher professional development, (3) There is a direct positive relationship between self-directed learning and social media.Keywords: Social Media,Independent Learning, and Teacher Self-Development
