Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif tipe Group Investigation berbantuan LKPD terstruktur dengan soal open-ended terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain posttest-only control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cluster random sampling. Terpilih dua kelas sampel yaitu kelas VII.6 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan model kooperatif tipe Group Investigation berbantuan LKPD terstruktur dengan soal open-ended dan kelas VII.5 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diterapkan pembelajaran konvensional di SMP Negeri 87 Jakarta. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis berupa lima soal uraian pada materi data dan diagram yang telah valid dan reliabel. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan α=0,05, diperoleh hasil t_hitung≥t_(0,05; 70) yaitu 4,36≥1,67 maka H_0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model kooperatif tipe Group Investigation berbantuan LKPD terstruktur dengan soal open-ended lebih tinggi dari rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model kooperatif tipe Group Investigation berbantuan LKPD terstruktur dengan soal open-ended terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Uji Cohen’s effect size menunjukkan besar pengaruh sebesar 84% yang tergolong dalam kategori besar. Kata kunci: Group Investigation, LKPD terstruktur, open-ended, berpikir kritis matematis. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative model type Group Investigation assisted by structured LKPD with open-ended questions on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. This study used a quasi-experiment method with posttest-only control group design. The sampling technique in this study used cluster random sampling. Two sample classes were selected, class VII.6 as the experimental class that implemented cooperative model type Group Investigation assisted by structured LKPD with open-ended questions and class VII.5 as the control class that implemented conventional learning at SMP Negeri 87 Jakarta. The instrument in this study was a mathematical critical thinking ability test in the form of five descriptive questions on data and diagram materials that were valid and reliable. Based on hypothesis testing using t-test with α=0.05, obtained the result that t_value≥t_(0,05; 70) is 4,36≥1,67, so H_0 is rejected. Thus, the average mathematical critical thinking ability of students who learn with cooperative model type Group Investigation assisted by structured LKPD with open-ended questions is higher than the average mathematical critical thinking ability of students who learn with conventional learning. It is concluded that there is an effect of cooperative model type Group Investigation assisted by structured LKPD with open-ended questions on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities.
