Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan resistance band dan ankle wrist weight terhadap ketepatan tendangan lurus depan atlet pencak silat MAN 5 Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest–posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 22 atlet pencak silat MAN 5 Bogor yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok latihan resistance band dan kelompok latihan ankle wrist weight. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes ketepatan tendangan lurus depan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan latihan selama 16 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata ketepatan tendangan lurus pada kelompok resistance band meningkat dari 16,55 menjadi 20,91, sedangkan pada kelompok ankle wrist weight meningkat dari 15,73 menjadi 19,55. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan (Sig. 0,002 < 0,05), dengan nilai N-Gain kelompok resistance band lebih tinggi. Dengan demikian, kedua latihan berpengaruh terhadap ketepatan tendangan lurus depan, namun latihan resistance band menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih besar.***** This study aims to determine the effect of resistance band training and ankle wrist weight training on the accuracy of the front straight kick of pencak silat athletes at MAN 5 Bogor. The research method used was an experimental method with a pretest–posttest design. The research sample consisted of 22 pencak silat athletes from MAN 5 Bogor who were divided into two groups, namely the resistance band training group and the ankle wrist weight training group. Data collection was conducted through a front straight kick accuracy test before and after the training intervention, which was carried out for 16 training sessions. The results showed that the average front straight kick accuracy in the resistance band group increased from 16.55 to 20.91, while in the ankle wrist weight group it increased from 15.73 to 19.55. The results of the independent sample t-test indicated a significant difference in improvement (Sig. 0.002 < 0.05), with the N-Gain value of the resistance band group being higher. Therefore, both training methods have an effect on the accuracy of the front straight kick; however, resistance band training demonstrates a greater improvement.
