Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan dan sudut release dengan ketepatan shooting jarak 9 meter pada atlet FIKK UNJ Petanque Club. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 15 atlet yang terdiri dari 8 atlet laki-laki dan 7 atlet perempuan, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes kekuatan otot lengan menggunakan handgrip dynamometer, analisis sudut release shooting menggunakan aplikasi Kinovea, serta tes ketepatan shooting jarak 9 meter. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi dan regresi berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian kekuatan otot lengan dengan hasil shooting diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar -0.156 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,578. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan dengan hasil shooting. Selain itu, Hasil penelitian sudut release dengan hasil shooting diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,121 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,667. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan dengan hasil shooting. Hasil uji regresi linear berganda diperoleh nilai R sebesar 0.179 dengan nilai R Square sebesar 0.032. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan otot lengan dan sudut release hanya mampu menjelaskan 3.2%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 96.8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model seperti tinggi badan, konsentrasi, pengalaman dan faktor psikologis atlet. ***** This study aimed to examine the relationship between arm muscle strength and release angle with shooting accuracy at a distance of 9 meters among athletes of the FIKK UNJ Petanque Club. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The sample consisted of 15 athletes, comprising 8 male and 7 female athletes, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments included an arm muscle strength test using a handgrip dynamometer, analysis of the shooting release angle using the Kinovea application, and a 9-meter shooting accuracy test. Data were analyzed using correlation analysis and multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between arm muscle strength and shooting accuracy was −0.156 with a significance value of 0.578, indicating that there was no significant relationship between arm muscle strength and shooting accuracy. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient between release angle and shooting accuracy was 0.121 with a significance value of 0.667, which also indicates that there was no significant relationship between release angle and shooting accuracy. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis showed an R value of 0.179 and an R Square value of 0.032. This indicates that arm muscle strength and release angle together accounted for only 3.2% of the variance in shooting accuracy, while the remaining 96.8% was influenced by other factors outside the model, such as body height, concentration, experience, and psychological factors of the athletes.
