Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem parkir berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mampu memantau ketersediaan slot parkir serta mengontrol palang pintu secara otomatis. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengatasi permasalahan pada sistem parkir konvensional, seperti kurangnya informasi slot parkir secara real-time dan proses keluar masuk kendaraan yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Sistem parkir yang dikembangkan menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai pengendali utama. Sensor inframerah digunakan untuk mendeteksi kendaraan pada pintu masuk dan pintu keluar, sedangkan motor servo berfungsi sebagai aktuator palang pintu. Informasi jumlah slot parkir ditampilkan melalui LCD 16x2. Selain itu, sistem dilengkapi dengan QR Code sebagai media identifikasi akses kendaraan serta Firebase sebagai basis data untuk menyimpan dan memperbarui data parkir secara real-time, yang dapat diakses melalui aplikasi mobile berbasis Kodular. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem mampu bekerja sesuai dengan perancangan, meliputi pendeteksian kendaraan, pengendalian palang pintu secara otomatis, serta penampilan informasi slot parkir secara real-time. Dengan demikian, sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan parkir berbasis IoT. Kata kunci: Internet of Things, Sistem Parkir, Sistem Monitoring, Sistem Pemesanan, Sensor Infrared, Otomatisasi, ESP32, QR Code. ****** This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based parking system that is capable of monitoring parking slot availability and automatically controlling the parking gate. The system is developed to address problems found in conventional parking systems, such as the lack of real-time parking information and manual vehicle entry and exit processes. The proposed parking system uses an ESP32 microcontroller as the main controller. Infrared sensors are utilized to detect vehicles at the entry and exit gates, while servo motors function as gate actuators. Parking slot information is displayed on a 16x2 LCD. In addition, the system is integrated with QR Code technology for vehicle access identification and Firebase as a database to store and update parking data in real time, which can be accessed through a mobile application developed using Kodular. Based on the test results, the system operates according to the design, including vehicle detection, automatic gate control, and real-time parking slot information display. Therefore, this system is expected to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IoT-based parking management.
