Abstract

Mangga merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan hortikultura Kabupaten Indramayu, namun pemanfaatan lahannya belum maksimal, hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah produksi yang fluktuatif dalam 5 tahun terakhir serta adanya perubahan penggunaan lahan secara massif yang perlu dikaitkan dengan rencana pola ruang wilayah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian lahan mangga terhadap rencana tata ruang wilayah Kabupaten Indramayu pada tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh satuan lahan mangga yang terdata dalam RTRW sebagai lahan produktif atau sebagai lahan yang memiliki potensi untuk produksi mangga di Kabupaten Indramayu. Penentuan titik sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Sebagian besar penelitian ini berasal dari data sekunder yang kemudian dilakukan fields check berdasarkan parameter kesesuaian lahan. Hasil penelitian pada tahun 2023 menunjukan, bahwa Kabupaten Indramayu memiliki kelas kesesuaian lahan yang sesuai, dapat dibuktikan dengan luasan kesesuaian lahan S1 memiliki luas 181.601,22 Ha, kelas ini mendominasi kesesuaian lahan yang ada di wilayah penelitian dengan persentase mencapai 87,99 %. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa kesesuaian lahan mangga sesuai dengan Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kabupaten Indramayu, dibuktikan dengan dominasi di kelas kesesuaian S1 yang memiliki luas mencapai 152.533,55 Ha dengan persentase 73,97 %, namun terdapat beberapa titik yang tidak sesuai RTRW, dibuktikan dengan kelas kesesuaian lahan N memiliki luas mencapai 36.590,95 Ha dengan persentase 18,87 % yaitu kesesauaian lahan mangga yang berada di kawasan yang tidak diperuntukan budidaya mangga berdasarkan RTRW. ***** Mango is one of the superior horticultural commodities of Indramayu Regency, but land utilization has not been maximized, this can be seen from the fluctuating production volume in the last 5 years as well as the massive changes in land use that need to be linked to the regional spatial pattern plan. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of mango land for spatial planning in Indramayu Regency in 2023.. This research uses a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis method. The population in this study was all mango land units recorded in the RTRW as productive land or as land that has the potential for mango production in Indramayu Regency. Determination of sample points using simple random sampling. Most of this research comes from secondary data which is then field checked based on land suitability parameters. The results of research in 2023 show that Indramayu Regency has a suitable land suitability class, as evidenced by the area of S1 land suitability covering 181,601.22 hectares. This class dominates the land suitability in the research area with a percentage of 87.99%. The results of the study also show that the suitability of mango land is in accordance with the Indramayu Regency Spatial Plan, as evidenced by the dominance of the S1 suitability class, which covers an area of 152,533.55 hectares with a percentage of 73.97%. However, there are several points that do not comply with the RTRW, as evidenced by the N land suitability class, which covers an area of 36,590.95 hectares with a percentage of 18.87%. This refers to mango land suitability in areas not designated for mango cultivation based on the RTRW.
