Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan perempuan perlu berada dalam Komunitas Pengusaha Tangan di Atas (TDA) Kota Bekasi untuk menunjukkan eksistensinya, serta menganalisis peran perempuan dalam bidang kewirausahaan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek dari penelitian ini terdapat 6 informan yaitu, 1 ketua komunitas dan 5 anggota perempuan komunitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan perempuan dalam komunitas berperan penting dalam membangun eksistensi melalui aktivitas kewirausahaan, peningkatan kapasitas intelektual, serta penguatan kepercayaan diri. Dalam perspektif feminisme eksistensialis Simone de Beauvoir, bekerja dan menjadi intelektual merupakan bentuk transendensi perempuan untuk membangun esensi diri melalui tindakan nyata. Selain itu, perempuan mampu menjalankan peran ganda secara adaptif dengan dukungan keluarga dan komunitas. Temuan ini juga sejalan dengan teori peran Bruce J. Biddle serta perspektif fungsional struktural Talcott Parsons yang menekankan pentingnya dukungan struktural dalam menjaga keseimbangan peran domestik dan publik perempuan. ***** This study aims to determine the reasons why women need to be part of the Bekasi City Tangan di Atas (TDA) Entrepreneur Community to demonstrate their existence, as well as to analyze the role of women in entrepreneurship. The study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The subjects of this study were six informants, namely one community leader and five female community members. The results show that women's involvement in the community plays an important role in establishing their existence through entrepreneurial activities, increasing intellectual capacity, and strengthening self-confidence. From the perspective of Simone de Beauvoir's existential feminism, working and becoming intellectuals are forms of women's transcendence to build their essence through concrete actions. In addition, women are able to adaptively perform dual roles with the support of their families and communities. These findings are also in line with Bruce J. Biddle's role theory and Talcott Parsons' structural functional perspective, which emphasize the importance of structural support in maintaining the balance between women's domestic and public roles.
