Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk dan menguji efektivitas Model Belajar Gerak Dasar Lokomotor Berbasis Permainan bagi anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg and Gall. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa TK/PAUD di Kota Makassar, meliputi 12 anak pada uji coba kelompok kecil, 105 anak pada uji coba kelompok besar, dan 90 anak pada tahap uji efektivitas yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (45 anak) dan kelompok kontrol (45 anak). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model belajar yang dikembangkan terdiri atas 27 model belajar gerak dasar lokomotor yang di nyatakan layak layak diterapkan pada pembelajaran anak usia dini karna telah dilakukan uji pakar, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berjalan, berlari, dan melompat secara signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Data N-Gain score kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi pada semua keterampilan (Berjalan: 65,58% Berlari: 70,07% Melompat: 93,42%) dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (Berjalan: 55,16% Berlari: 66,49% Melompat: 74,38%). Rata-rata N-Gain kelompok eksperimen adalah 76,36% (kategori sedang mendekati tinggi), sedangkan kelompok kontrol 65,34% (kategori sedang). Uji Independent t-test menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) = 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model belajar yang dikembangkan terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan gerak dasar lokomotor anak usia dini. Kata Kunci: model belajar, gerak dasar lokomotor, anak usia dini, permainan A GAME-BASED LOCOMOTOR FUNDAMENTAL MOVEMENT LEARNING MODEL FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD andi_9904922004@mhs.unj.ac.id ABSTRACT This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of a Game-Based Fundamental Locomotor Movement Learning Model for early childhood. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Borg and Gall model. The research subjects were kindergarten students (TK/PAUD) in Makassar City, consisting of 12 children in the small-group trial, 105 children in the large-group trial, and 90 children in the effectiveness testing phase, divided into an experimental group (45 children) and a control group (45 children). The results indicate that the developed learning model comprises 27 fundamental locomotor movement learning activities, which were deemed suitable for implementation in early childhood education after undergoing expert validation, small-group testing, and large-group testing. The effectiveness test results revealed a significant improvement in walking, running, and jumping skills in the experimental group compared to the control group. The N-Gain scores of the experimental group were higher across all skills (Walking: 65.58%, Running: 70.07%, Jumping: 93.42%) than those of the control group (Walking: 55.16%, Running: 66.49%, Jumping: 74.38%). The average N-Gain score of the experimental group was 76.36% (medium approaching high category), whereas the control group obtained an average of 65.34% (medium category). The results of the independent t-test showed a significance value of p = 0.001 < 0.05, indicating that the developed learning model was proven effective in improving early childhood fundamental locomotor movement skills.
