Abstract

Minat karir merupakan ketertarikan yang kuat dan konsisten terhadap bidang pekerjaan tertentu, yang mendorong individu untuk terlihat secara aktif serta memengaruhi pilihan dan keputusan karirnya, yang tercermin melalui preferensi, rasa suka, dan keinginanan untuk mengeksplorasi maupun menekuni profesi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan praktik kerja lapangan terhadap minat karir mahasiswa di industri perhotelan.keterbaruan dari penelitian ini terletak pada pengukuran kepuasan praktik kerja lapangan dengan minat karir mahasiswa di industri perhotelan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 48 mahasiswa aktif angkatan 2018-2022 Program Studi Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga konsentrasi Akomodasi Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan praktik kerja lapangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat karir mahasiswa di industri perhotelan (p < 0,005). Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,528 menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan praktik kerja lapangan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 52,8% terhadap variasi minat karir mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kepuasan praktik kerja lapangan dengan minat karir, yang berarti semakin tinggi kepuasan praktik kerja lapangan, semakin besar pula minat mahasiswa untuk berkarir di industri perhotelan. This study aims to determine the effect of internship satisfactions on students’ career interest in the hospitality industry. The novelty of this research lies in measuring internship satisfaction in relation to students’ career interest in the hospitality industry. The research employed an associative quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaire. The sample consisted of 48 active students from the 2018-2022 cohorts of the Family Welfare Education Study Program, Hospitality Accommodation concentration, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The regression test results indicate that internship satisfaction has a significant effect on students’ career interest in the hospitality industry (p<0.005). The coefficient of determination value of 0.528 shows that internship satisfaction contributes 52,8% to the variation in students’ career interest. The findings indicate a significant influence between internship satisfaction and career interest, meaning that the higher the students’ satisfaction with their internship experience, the greater their interest in pursuing a career in the hospitality industry.
