Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa e-modul interaktif pada materi Teknik Animasi 2D untuk siswa kelas XI jurusan Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) di SMKN 1 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang ada, yang masih didominasi oleh metode konvensional seperti presentasi PowerPoint dan video tutorial statis, sehingga siswa merasa kurang tertarik dan pasif dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Four-D yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Pengembangan e-modul ini memanfaatkan aplikasi Canva untuk desain visual dan Heyzine Flipbook untuk penyajian interaktif. Kelayakan produk diuji melalui validasi ahli dan uji coba pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul ini sangat layak digunakan. Validasi ahli materi memberikan skor 100% dengan kategori "Sangat Layak", dan validasi ahli media memberikan skor 81,3% dengan kategori "Sangat Layak". Selain itu, uji coba terhadap 36 siswa menggunakan instrumen System Usability Scale (SUS) menghasilkan skor rata-rata 91,45, yang menempatkan produk pada kategori Acceptable dengan peringkat Best Imaginable dan Grade A. Disimpulkan bahwa e-modul interaktif ini layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemandirian belajar siswa pada materi Teknik Animasi 2D.*****This study aims to develop an interactive e-module as a learning medium for 2D Animation Techniques material for 11th-grade students of Visual Communication Design (DKV) at SMKN 1 Jakarta. This research is motivated by the limitations of existing learning media, which are still dominated by conventional methods such as PowerPoint presentations and static video tutorials, causing students to feel less interested and passive during learning. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Four-D development model consisting of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The development of this e-module utilizes the Canva application for visual design and Heyzine Flipbook for interactive presentation. The feasibility of the product was tested through expert validation and user trials. The results showed that this e-module is highly feasible for use. Material expert validation resulted in a score of 100% in the "Very Feasible" category, and media expert validation resulted in a score of 81.3% in the "Very Feasible" category. Furthermore, a trial involving 36 students using the System Usability Scale (SUS) instrument yielded an average score of 91.45, placing the product in the Acceptable category with a Best Imaginable rating and Grade A. It is concluded that this interactive e-module is feasible as a supporting medium to enhance students' understanding and independent learning in 2D Animation Techniques material.
