Abstract

Analisis kerentanan dilakukan berdasarkan tujuh parameter fisik CVI, yaitu geomorfologi pantai, perubahan garis pantai, elevasi, kemiringan lereng, tinggi gelombang, pasang surut, dan kenaikan muka air laut. ***** The coastal area of Pandeglang Regency has experienced an increase and expansion of tidal flooding incidents across nearly all coastal sub-districts as a manifestation of increasingly intensive physical pressure factors, especially following the 2018 Sunda Strait tsunami which triggered coastal abrasion. This study aims to analyze the level of physical vulnerability of Pandeglang Regency's coast using the Coastal Vulnerability Index (CVI) method and to identify the spatial distribution of vulnerability based on transect segments as a reference for coastal adaptation planning. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method with analysis units consisting of 55 transect segments representing the entire coastline of Pandeglang Regency. Vulnerability analysis was conducted based on seven physical CVI parameters: coastal geomorphology, shoreline change, elevation, slope gradient, wave height, tidal range, and sea level rise. All parameters were processed through scoring and spatial overlay procedures. Based on the Coastal Vulnerability Index (CVI) calculation, the physical vulnerability of Pandeglang Regency's coast shows spatial variation among transects that form local clusters, where segments with moderate vulnerability are concentrated in several transects along the northern and southern coasts. This moderate vulnerability is influenced by a combination of relatively vulnerable physical parameters, particularly active abrasion, potentially vulnerable coastal geomorphology, low to moderate elevation, and significant wave exposure, while most other transects fall within the low to very low categories due to the dominance of less vulnerable physical characteristics.
