Abstract

Hutan mangrove merupakan kawasan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai area wisata. Pemanfaatan hutan mangrove pada Pulau Untung Jawa sebagai area wisata berpengaruh terhadap kelimpahan gastropoda, yang keberadaannya sangat ditentukan oleh jenis substrat lumpur berpasir di zona intertidal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas gastropoda, karakteristik jenis substrat serta kandungan C-organik yang terkandung, dan hubungan antara parameter lingkungan dengan keanekaragaman gastropoda di Pulau Untung Jawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif survey dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif melalui perhitungan menggunakan software excel dan Rstudio. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa di Pulau Untung Jawa terdapat 9 jenis gastropoda yaitu Littoraria scabra, Lunella cinerea, Nerita balteata, Nerita undata, Notocochlis gualteriana, Telescopium telescopium, Terebralia palustris, Terebralia sulcata, dan Turbo setosus. Jenis substrat di Pulau Untung Jawa yaitu lempung berliat dengan kandungan C-organik 3,06% dan lempung liat berpasir dengan kandungan C-organik 0,77%. Parameter lingkungan seperti pH, suhu, salinitas, komposisi substrat, C-organik, dan bahan organik diketahui mempengaruhi keanekaragaman gastropoda di Pulau Untung Jawa, Kepulauan Seribu.***** Mangrove forests serve as valuable ecosystems for ecotourism development. The utilization of the mangrove area on Untung Jawa Island for tourism impacts the abundance of gastropods, whose presence is significantly determined by the sandy-mud substrates within the intertidal zone. This study aims to analyze the gastropod community structure, substrate characteristics, C-organic, and the correlation between environmental parameters and gastropods diversity on Untung Jawa Island. A descriptive survey method with a purposive sampling approach was employed, while data analysis was conducted descriptively using Microsoft Excel and RStudio software. The results identified nine gastropods species: Littoraria scabra, Lunella cinerea, Nerita balteata, Nerita undata, Notocochlis gualteriana, Telescopium telescopium, Terebralia palustris, Terebralia sulcata, and Turbo setosus. The substrate types recorded were clay loam with a 3.06% C-organic and sandy clay loam with 0.77% C-organic. Environmental parameters, including pH, temperature, salinity, substrate composition, C-organic, and organic matter, were found to significantly influence gastropod diversity in Untung Jawa Island, Kepulauan Seribu.
