Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku sosial yang ditampilkan oleh karakter anak usia dini dalam animasi Shimajiro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis). Data diperoleh melalui teknik observasi terhadap adegan-adegan dalam film animasi Shimajiro yang mengandung nilai-nilai perilaku sosial, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film animasi Shimajiro menampilkan beberapa bentuk perilaku sosial positif yang antara lain berbagi, menolong, menghargai, jujur, empati, dan kerja sama. Perilaku tersebut ditampilkan secara konsisten melalui adegan visual, dialog dari setiap karakter dan alur cerita relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari anak. Temuan ini memperkuat gagasan bahwa media anak seperti film animasi tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana edukatif dalam membentuk perilaku sosial positif pada anak usia dini. ***** This study aims to analyse the social behaviours displayed by early childhood characters in the animated series Shimajiro. The study employs a qualitative approach using content analysis as the research method. Data were obtained through observational techniques focusing on scenes in the Shimajiro animated film that contain social behaviour values, and were then analysed descriptively. The results indicate that the Shimajiro animated film presents several forms of positive social behaviour, including sharing, helping, respect, honesty, empathy, and cooperation. These behaviours are consistently portrayed through visual scenes, character dialogues, and storylines that are relevant to children’s everyday lives. The findings reinforce the idea that children’s media such as animated films function not only as entertainment but also as educational tools in fostering positive social behaviour in early childhood.
