Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak pengaruh dari penggunaan model pembelajaran ARIAS berbantuan media Penana untuk terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerpen siswa kelas X SMKN 68 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain true experimental menggunakan pretest-posttest group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMKN 68 Jakarta. Sedangkan sampel yang digunakan adalah dua kelas yakni kelas X TFLM 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X TFLM 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengambil sampel ini adalah random sampling. Dari hasil pengolahan data, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Nilai pretest tertinggi dari kelas eksperimen sebesar 77,5 dan nilai terendah sebesar 45. Nilai posttest tertinggi dari kelas eksperimen sebesar 85 dan nilai terendah sebesar 70. Pada kelas kontrol, nilai tertinggi dari pretest sebesar 80 dan nilai terendah sebesar 45. Nilai posttest tertinggi kelas kontrol sebesar 82,5 dan nilai terendah sebesar 60. Pada pretest kelas eksperimen rata-rata nilai sebesar 64 dan posttest rata-rata nilai sebesar 78. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 65,6 dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 72,6. Selisih antara nilai rata-rata pretest dengan nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 14. Dari hasil pemerolehan data, hasi uji t pada taraf signifikansi α < 0.05 menunjukan bahwa Sig. (two-sided probability) sebesar 0.016 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model ARIAS berbantuan media Penana terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerpen siswa kelas X.***** This research was conducted with the aim of determining whether or not there is an influence from the use of the ARIAS learning model assisted by Penana media on the short story text writing skills of class X students at SMKN 68 Jakarta. The method used in this research is quantitative with a true experimental design using a pretest-posttest group design. The population in this study were all class X students of SMKN 68 Jakarta. Meanwhile, the samples used were two classes, namely class X TFLM 1 as the experimental class and X TFLM 2 as the control class. The method used to take this sample was random sampling. From the data processing, there is a significant difference. The highest pretest score of the experimental class was 77.5 and the lowest was 45. The highest posttest score of the experimental class was 85 and the lowest was 70. On the control class, the highest pretest score was 80 and the lowest was 45. The highest posttest score of the control class was 82.5 and the lowest was 60. On the pretest of the experimental class, the average score was 64 and the posttest average score was 78. Meanwhile, on the control class, the average pretest score was 65.6 and the average posttest score was 72.6. The difference between the mean of the pretest and posttest scores in the experimental class is 14. From the data collection results, the t-test at a significance level α < 0.05 shows that the Sig. (two-sided probability) is 0.016, thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This indicates a significant effect of the use of the ARIAS model assisted by the Penana media on the short story writing skills of X class students.
