Abstract

Penguatan literasi dan numerasi pada anak usia dini merupakan salah satu fokus utama dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai upaya menyiapkan kesiapan belajar anak ke jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. Namun, pada praktiknya masih ditemukan kendala berupa keterbatasan media pembelajaran interaktif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media busy book sebagai sarana penguatan literasi dan numerasi pada anak TK kelas B. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa busy book dirancang dengan aktivitas interaktif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia dini serta memuat materi literasi dan numerasi yang kontekstual. Media busy book yang dikembangkan diharapkan mampu membantu guru dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna, serta memberikan penguatan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi bagi peserta didik. Dengan demikian, busy book layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran di satuan Taman Kanak-kanak (TK). ***** Strengthening literacy and numeracy in early childhood is one of the main focuses in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum as an effort to prepare children’s readiness for the next level of education. However, in practice, challenges are still encountered, particularly the limited availability of interactive learning media that align with the characteristics of early childhood. This study aims to develop a busy book as a medium to strengthen literacy and numeracy skills for kindergarten B students. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the development show that the busy book is designed with interactive activities suited to the characteristics of early childhood and contains contextual literacy and numeracy materials. The developed busy book is expected to assist teachers in creating more interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful learning experiences, while also reinforcing students’ literacy and numeracy skills. Thus, the busy book is deemed feasible to be used as a supporting learning medium in kindergarten institutions.
