Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi rendahnya keterampilan sosial anak usia 5–6 tahun di Kelompok B TKIT Baitul ‘Aini, khususnya pada aspek komunikasi, kerja sama, dan berbagi dalam kegiatan kelompok. Pembelajaran yang berlangsung sebelumnya belum sepenuhnya memberikan ruang bagi anak untuk berinteraksi secara aktif dan bermakna. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, pembelajaran dirancang melalui kegiatan Virtual to Reality Play berbantuan Google Earth yang menghubungkan eksplorasi virtual dengan pengalaman bermain nyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas John Elliott yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek sebanyak 15 anak. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan sosial anak secara bertahap, ditunjukkan oleh persentase keterampilan sosial anak yang meningkat dari 48,5% pada pra siklus, menjadi 65,7% pada siklus I, dan meningkat kembali menjadi 76,9% pada siklus II, sehingga tindakan pembelajaran yang diterapkan dinyatakan efektif. Kata Kunci: keterampilan sosial, anak usia 5–6 tahun, Virtual to Reality Play, Google Earth, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK)/ ***** Social skills development in children aged 5–6 years plays an important role in supporting their ability to interact effectively during learning activities. In Group B of TKIT Baitul ‘Aini, limited opportunities for meaningful interaction had resulted in low levels of communication, cooperation, and sharing among children during group learning. To respond to this condition, learning activities were designed through Virtual to Reality Play using Google Earth, integrating virtual exploration with real-world play experiences. The study adopted the Classroom Action Research model proposed by John Elliott and was implemented in two cycles involving 15 children. Data were collected through observation, field notes, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches. The findings indicate a gradual improvement in children’s social skills, reflected in an increase in the percentage of social skill development from 48.5% in the pre-cycle, to 65.7% in Cycle I, and reaching 76.9% in Cycle II, demonstrating the effectiveness of the implemented learning activities.
