Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran Modelling-RME-ML valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk mendukung penguatan keterampilan literasi matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian design research tipe development studies yang terdiri dari dua tahap, yaitu preliminary dan formative evaluation (self-evaluation, expert reviews, one-to-one, small group, dan field test). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada empat Sekolah Dasar di kota Palembang, yaitu SDN 1 Palembang, SDN 2 Palembang, SDN 6 Palembang, SDN 59 Palembang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajarn Modelling-RME-ML telah terbukti valid berdasarkan hasil expert reviews dan one-to-one, praktis terlihat dari hasil ujicoba small group, serta terbukti efektif terhadap penguatan literasi matematika siswa pada tahapan field test. Pada tahap expert reviews model pembelajaran Modelling-RME-ML memperoleh rata-rata skor akhir 89,60; LAS memperoleh rata-rata skor akhir 90,94; Modul Ajar memperoleh rata-rata skor akhir 91,95. Ketiga produk tersebut tergolong kategori sangat baik. Pada tahap one-to-one memperoleh rata-rata skor akhir 82,54 dan pada small group memperoleh rata-rata skor akhir 81,71 yang sama-sama tergolong kategori sangat baik. Hasil pengujian statistik menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,6331 tergolong kategori cukup efektif dengan kriteria peningkatan sebesar 63,31% tergolong kategori sedang. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Modelling-RME-ML lebih baik dibanding yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional (Sig. (1-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05 atau t-hitung = 15,853) > t-tabel = 1,668). Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran Modelling-RME-ML merupakan solusi potensial yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa. ***** The purpose of this study is to produce a valid, practical, and effective Modelling-RME-ML learning model to support the strengthening of students' mathematical literacy skills. This research is a development studies type of design research consisting of two stages, namely preliminary and formative evaluation (self-evaluation, expert reviews, one-to-one, small group, and field test). This research was conducted in four elementary schools in the city of Palembang, namely SDN 1 Palembang, SDN 2 Palembang, SDN 6 Palembang, and SDN 59 Palembang. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, interviews, observations, and tests. The results showed that the Modelling-RME-ML learning model was proven to be valid based on the results of expert reviews and one-to-one interviews, practical based on the results of small group trials, and effective in strengthening students' mathematical literacy in the field test stage. At the expert review stage, the Modelling-RME-ML learning model obtained a final average score of 89.60; LAS obtained a final average score of 90.94; and the Teaching Module obtained a final average score of 91.95. All three products were classified as very good. In the one-to-one stage, it obtained a final average score of 82.54, and in the small group stage, it obtained a final average score of 81.71, both of which are classified as very good. Statistical test results show that the average N-Gain value of 0.6331 is classified as quite effective with an improvement criterion of 63.31%, which is classified as moderate. The results of the independent sample t-test show that the improvement in mathematical literacy skills of students taught using the Modelling-RME-ML learning model is better than those taught using the conventional learning model (Sig. (1-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05 or t-count = 15.853 > t-table = 1.668). These findings indicate that the Modelling-RME-ML learning model is a potentially effective solution for improving students' mathematical literacy skills.
