Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui unsur kohesi gramatikal dan leksikal dalam rubrik pelayanan publik di Harian Rakyat Mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan analisis isi. Penelitian ini menganalisis 6 artikel dalam rubrik pelayanan publik Koran Rakyat Merdeka pada rentang waktu 6 – 15 Juli 2019. Fokus penelitian ini adalah wacana argumentasi dalam rubrik pelayanan publik dan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah aspek gramatikal dan aspek leksikal teks wacana. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa Aspek Gramatikal meliputi pengguaan pronomina persona, pronomina demonstratif, acuan lingual komparatif, subtitusi, pelesapan, dan konjungsi. Selanjutnya kategori Leksikal meliputi repetisi, sinonim, antonim, kolokasi dan ekuivalensi. Selanjutnya dimaknai sesuai aspek kohesi pada satu paragraf atau pasangan paragraf tersebut dan diberi kesimpulan analisis. Berdasarkan penelitian ditemukan bahwa rubrik pelayanan publik Harian Rakyat Merdeka memiliki unsur kohesi gramatikal lebih banyak digunakan dengan total jumlah 493 data daripada unsur leksikal dengan 8 data. Hal ini menunjukkan kemungkinan beberapa aspek leksikal pada rubrik tersebut untuk menghindari kebosanan terhadap penekanan berupa pengulangan, padan atau lawan kata. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the grammatical and lexical cohesion elements in the public service rubric in Harian Rakyat. The method used is qualitative with content analysis. This study analyzes 6 articles in the public service rubric of the Koran Rakyat Merdeka newspaper in the span of 6-15 July 2019. The focus of this study is the argumentation in the public service rubric and the objects in this study are the grammatical and lexical aspects of the discourse text. This research instrument in the form of Grammatical Aspects includes the use of personal pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, comparative lingual references, substitutions, impregnations, and conjunctions. Furthermore, the Lexical category includes repetition, synonyms, antonyms, collocation and equivalence. Furthermore, it is interpreted according to the aspect of cohesion in one paragraph or pair of paragraphs and the analysis conclusions are given. Based on the research it was found that the public service rubric of the Daily People's Freedom had more grammatical cohesion elements used with a total of 493 data than lexical elements with 8 data. This shows the possibility of some lexical aspects of the rubric to avoid boredom with emphasis in the form of repetition, matching or opposing words.
