Abstract
Meja las konvensional yang digunakan pada pelatihan pengelasan SMAW umumnya memiliki tinggi tetap sehingga kurang memperhatikan aspek ergonomi, keselamatan kerja, dan aksesibilitas bagi peserta pelatihan dengan disabilitas sensorik maupun fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan meja las adjustable berbasis inklusi sebagai media pembelajaran pengelasan SMAW bagi peserta vokasional disabilitas sensorik dan fisik serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Four-D (4D) yang meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa meja las adjustable dengan sistem pengaturan ketinggian menggunakan linear actuator DC 12 V 1000 N serta sistem pendeteksi jarak menggunakan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 yang dilengkapi LCD 16×2 dan indikator LED merah, hijau, dan biru. Pengujian produk meliputi uji kestabilan rangka, uji mekanisme naik–turun aktuator, dan uji respons sensor pendeteksi jarak. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli, sedangkan uji kelayakan pengguna dilakukan kepada peserta pelatihan di Sentra Terpadu Inten Soewono Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meja las adjustable yang dikembangkan memperoleh tingkat kelayakan sebesar 96% berdasarkan validasi ahli dan 94,28% berdasarkan uji pengguna dengan kategori sangat layak. Dengan demikian, meja las adjustable berbasis inklusi yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pengelasan SMAW bagi peserta vokasional disabilitas sensorik dan fisik. ***** Conventional welding tables used in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) training generally have fixed heights, which do not adequately consider ergonomic aspects, occupational safety, and accessibility for trainees with sensory and physical disabilities. This study aimed to develop an inclusive adjustable welding table as a learning medium for SMAW training and to determine the feasibility of the developed product. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Four-D (4D) model, consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The developed product was an adjustable welding table equipped with a 12 V DC 1000 N linear actuator for height adjustment and an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor integrated with a 16×2 LCD and red, green, and blue LED indicators for distance detection. Product testing included frame stability testing, actuator lifting mechanism testing, and sensor response testing. Product validation was conducted by experts, while user feasibility testing involved trainees at Sentra Terpadu Inten Soewono Bogor. The results indicated that the developed adjustable welding table achieved a feasibility score of 96% based on expert validation and 94.28% based on user evaluations, both categorized as highly feasible. Therefore, the inclusive adjustable welding table developed in this study is considered suitable for use as a learning medium for SMAW training for vocational trainees with sensory and physical disabilities.
