Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Mata Kuliah Pengantar Ilmu Politik terhadap sikap politik mahasiswa PPKN Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Universitas Negeri Jakarta dalam menyikapi revisi UU TNI Tahun 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Waktu penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Desember 2025 – Juni 2026. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan jumlah responden 82 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert 1–4 sebanyak 30 pernyataan dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Mata Kuliah Pengantar Ilmu Politik terhadap sikap politik mahasiswa, dengan nilai t-hitung 10,728 > t-tabel 1,984 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,590 menunjukkan pengaruh sebesar 59,0%, sedangkan 41,0% dipengaruhi faktor lain seperti literasi politik, media sosial, dan organisasi mahasiswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Mata Kuliah Pengantar Ilmu Politik yang signifikan terhadap sikap politik mahasiswa PPKN FISH UNJ dalam menyikapi revisi UU TNI Tahun 2025. Kata kunci: Pengantar Ilmu Politik, Sikap Politik, Mahasiswa, UU TNI, Pendidikan Politik ***** This study aims to determine the influence of the Introduction to Political Science course on the political attitudes of Civic Education students at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, in responding to the 2025 revision of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Law. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The study was conducted from December 2025 to June 2026. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, involving 82 student respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–4) consisting of 30 statements and were analyzed using SPSS through validity, reliability, normality, t-test, and coefficient of determination analyses. The results indicate a significant influence of the Introduction to Political Science course on students' political attitudes, with a t-value of 10.728 exceeding the t-table value of 1.984 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The R Square value of 0.590 indicates that the course contributes 59.0% to students' political attitudes, while the remaining 41.0% is influenced by other factors such as political literacy, social media, and student organizations. It can be concluded that the Introduction to Political Science course has a significant influence on the political attitudes of PPKn students at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, in responding to the 2025 revision of the TNI Law.
