Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan software Proteus terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran Penerapan Rangkaian Elektronika di SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi experiment berupa nonequivalent control group design menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 31 siswa kelas XI TEI 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan software Proteus dan 30 siswa kelas XI TEI 3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan PCB Wizard. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda yang digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Uji persyaratan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t, dan perhitungan effect size. Hasil uji normalitas menggunakan Uji Liliefors menunjukkan bahwa seluruh data berdistribusi normal, dengan nilai Lhitung pre-test dan post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,128 dan 0,124 lebih kecil dari Ltabel 0,159, serta nilai Lhitung pre-test dan post-test kelas kontrol sebesar 0,101 dan 0,121 lebih kecil dari Ltabel 0,161. Hasil uji homogenitas menggunakan Uji Bartlett menunjukkan X2 hitung sebesar 2,05 lebih kecil dari X2 tabel sebesar 7,81 sehingga data dinyatakan homogen. Hasil uji independent-sample t-test menunjukkan rata-rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,58 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 72,67 dengan thitung sebesar 5,27 lebih besar daripada ttabel sebesar 2,00 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Perhitungan effect size menghasilkan nilai 1,35 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan software Proteus memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran Penerapan Rangkaian Elektronika di SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta. ***** This study aimed to determine the effect of using Proteus software on students' cognitive learning outcomes in the Applied Electronic Circuits subject at SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta. This study employed a Quasi experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design utilizing pre-test and post-test assessments. The research sample consisted of 31 students from class XI TEI 1 as the experimental group, which utilized Proteus software, and 30 students from class XI TEI 3 as the control group, which utilized PCB Wizard. The research instrument comprised a multiple-choice test administered to measure students' cognitive learning outcomes. The prerequisite tests conducted in this study included the normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and effect size calculation. The normality test results using the Liliefors Test indicated that all data were normally distributed, with the Lcalculated values of the pre-test and post-test in the experimental group of 0.128 and 0.124, respectively, being lower than the Ltable value of 0.159, while the Lcalculated values of the pre-test and post-test in the control group of 0.101 and 0.121, respectively, were lower than the Ltable value of 0.161. The homogeneity test results using the Bartlett Test revealed that the X² calculated value of 2.05 was lower than the X² table value of 7.81, thereby indicating that the data were homogeneous. The results of the independent sample t-test demonstrated that the mean post-test score of the experimental group was 82.58, while that of the control group was 72.67, with a t-calculated value of 5.27 exceeding the t-table value of 2.00 at a 5% significance level. The effect size calculation yielded a value of 1.35, which falls within the high category. Accordingly, it can be concluded that the use of Proteus software had a high effect on students’ cognitive learning outcomes based on Cohen’s d in the Applied Electronic Circuits subject at SMK Negeri 29 Jakarta.
