Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah, untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat konsentrasi terhadap hasil keberhasilan free throw shoot, dan mengetahui faktor keberhasilan free throw, Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis kuantitatif asosiatif dengan menggunakan rancangan korelasional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu dengan sampel sebanyak 20 atlet Vishaka Basketball Club. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen concentration grid test dan shooting free throw. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa variabel Konsentrasi memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.143 (> 0.05) dan variabel Free throw memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.194 (> 0.05). Hasil uji korelasi diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,469 dengan nilai signifikansi (p-value) sebesar 0,037. Nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0,05 (0,037 < 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat konsentrasi dan keberhasilan free throw. Hasil Uji Koefisien Determinasi sebesar 22% menunjukkan bahwa variable konsentrasi memberikan kontribusi sebesar 22% terhadap keberhasilan Free throw. Hasil penelitian Konsentrasi diperoleh thitung 2.252 > ttabel 1,734 berdasarkan dk = 15 taraf signifikan 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh konsentrasi yang signifikan terhadap keberhasilan free throw atlet Vishaka Basketball Club. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of concentration and the success of free throw shooting, and to determine the factors of free throw success. This study is an associative quantitative study using a correlational design. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 20 Vishaka Basketball Club athletes. Data collection used a concentration grid test and free throw shooting instruments. The results of the normality test showed that the Concentration variable obtained a significance value of 0.143 (> 0.05) and the Free throw variable obtained a significance value of 0.194 (> 0.05). The results of the correlation test obtained a value of 0.469 with a significance value (p-value) of 0.037. The significance value is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (0.037 < 0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the level of concentration and the success of free throws. The results of the Determination Coefficient Test of 22% indicate that the concentration variable contributes 22% to the success of Free throws. The results of the Concentration study obtained t count 2.252 > t table 1.734 based on dk = 15 significant level 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of concentration on the success of free throws of Vishaka Basketball Club athletes.
