Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan, menganalisis kelayakan, dan menganalisis efektivitas dari model pembelajaran kimia dasar berbantuan laboratorium virtual dengan flipped classroom. Penelitian ini merupakan mixed method exploratory yaitu research and development model pembelajaran secara kualitatif dan diakhiri dengan studi eksperimen untuk membandingkan rata-rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan gabungan Dick and Carey dan Bord and Gall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran berhasil dikembangkan dan diberi nama FlipVlab dengan sintaks: 1) meyiapkan belajar (daring); 2) mengumpulkan data/eksperimen digital (daring); 3) mengevaluasi awal (daring); 4) mengonfirmasi data (luring); 5) menganalisis (luring); dan 6) menyimpulkan (luring). Model pembelajaran oleh masing-masing 3 orang expert judgment mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 95.14 di bidang desain instruksional, 93.63 di bidang materi pembelajaran, dan 95.18 di bidang media pembelajaran, yang artinya model pembelajaran tersebut sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan. Studi statistika Independent t-Test menunjukkan nilai Sig. 0.001<0.05 (H0 ditolak) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Uji Effect Size Cohen’d menunjukkan nilai 0.823, yang artinya model pembelajaran FlipVlab memiliki efektivitas yang tinggi saat diimplementasikan pada mata kuliah Kimia Dasar. Kata kunci: penelitian pengembangan, model pembelajaran, laboratorium virtual, flipped classroom, kimia dasar, FlipVlab ***** The purpose of this study was to develop, analyze the feasibility, and analyze the effectiveness of a virtual laboratory-assisted basic chemistry learning model with a flipped classroom. This study was a mixed method exploratory research and development model of learning qualitatively and ended with an experimental study to compare the average post-test scores of the experimental and control classes. The research design uses a combined development model of Dick and Carey and Bord and Gall. The results of the study show that the learning model was successfully developed and named FlipVlab with the following syntax: 1) prepare for learning (online); 2) collect digital data/experiments (online); 3) conduct an initial evaluation (online); 4) confirm the data (offline); 5) analyzing (offline); and 6) concluding (offline). The learning model by each of the three expert judgments received an average score of 95.14 in the field of instructional design, 93.63 in the field of learning materials, and 95.18 in the field of learning media, which means that the learning model is very feasible to implement. The Independent t-Test statistical study showed a Sig. value of 0.001<0.05, which means that there was a difference between the experimental and control classes. Cohen's Effect Size test showed a value of 0.823, which means that the FlipVlab learning model is highly effective when implemented in Basic Chemistry courses.
