Abstract
Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) mendorong siswa untuk belajar melalui kerja sama kelompok, diskusi, dan kompetisi yang sehat guna meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Seiring perkembangan teknologi, penerapan gamifikasi digital memungkinkan terciptanya pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menarik, sehingga siswa lebih termotivasi untuk terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran dan lebih mudah memahami konsep melalui interaksi serta pertukaran pengetahuan antarsiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbasis gamifikasi digital terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi gelombang cahaya. Metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda yang telah valid dan reliabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara kedua kelas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar <0,001 (<0,05), yang menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan tersebut signifikan. Analisis N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman konsep pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas control. Selain itu, nilai effect size sebesar 0,63 menunjukkan pengaruh yang tergolong besar. Dengan demikian, penerapan model pembelajaran TGT berbasis gamifikasi digital terbukti memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi gelombang cahaya.*****The Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model encourages students to learn through group collaboration, discussion, and healthy competition in order to increase students’ active participation in the learning process. Along with technological developments, the implementation of digital gamification enables the creation of a more interactive and engaging learning experience, thereby motivating students to participate more actively in learning and facilitating their conceptual understanding through interaction and knowledge exchange among students. This study aimed to determine the differences and the effect of implementing a digital gamification-based TGT cooperative learning model on students’ conceptual understanding of light wave material. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely an experimental class and a control class. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test that had been validated and proven reliable. The results of the analysis showed differences in conceptual understanding between the two classes. Hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that the difference was significant. The N-Gain analysis indicated that the improvement in students' conceptual understanding was higher in the experimental class than in the control class. In addition, the effect size value of 0.63 indicated a large effect. Therefore, the implementation of the digital gamification-based TGT learning model was proven to have a significant effect on students’ conceptual understanding of light wave material.
