Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsentrasi dan kelenturan dengan penguasaan Gerak Senam Karet 2 pada kelas VII SMPN 74 Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 36 peserta didik yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi Grid Concentration Test untuk mengukur konsentrasi, Standing Trunk Flexion untuk mengukur kelenturan, serta rubrik penilaian penguasaan Gerak Senam Ka ret 2. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, korelasi Pearson Product Moment, dan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara konsentrasi dengan penguasaan Gerak Senam Karet 2 (r = 0,786; p < 0,05), sedangkan kelenturan memiliki hubungan positif dengan tingkat kekuatan hubungan yang rendah namun tidak signifikan secara statistik (r = 0,259; p > 0,05). Secara bersama sama, konsentrasi dan kelenturan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan penguasaan Gerak Senam Karet 2 dengan nilai R = 0,786 dan R² = 0,617. Dengan demikian, konsentrasi memiliki hubungan yang lebih kuat dibandingkan kelenturan terhadap penguasaan Gerak Senam Karet 2 pada peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 74 Jakarta. Kata kunci: konsentrasi, kelenturan, penguasaan gerak, Senam Karet 2, pendidikan jasmani. ***** This study aimed to investigate the relationships between concentration, flexibility, and performance in Gerak Senam Karet 2 among seventh-grade students at SMPN 74 Jakarta. A quantitative study employing a correlational research design was conducted with a sample of 36 students selected through purposive sampling. Concentration was assessed using the Grid Concentration Test, flexibility was measured using the Standing Trunk Flexion test, and performance in Gerak Senam Karet 2 was evaluated using a standardized performance assessment rubric. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality and linearity tests, Pearson’s product-moment correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression in IBM SPSS Statistics. The results demonstrated a strong and statistically significant positive correlation between concentration and performance in Gerak Senam Karet 2 (r = 0.786, p < 0.05). In contrast, flexibility showed a weak positive correlation with performance that was not statistically significant (r = 0.259, p > 0.05). Multiple regression analysis indicated that concentration and flexibility collectively had a significant relationship with performance in Gerak Senam Karet 2, with a multiple correlation coefficient of R = 0.786 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.617. These findings indicate that concentration is a stronger predictor of performance in Gerak Senam Karet 2 than flexibility among seventh-grade students.
