Abstract
Rumah ikan (rumpon) merupakan sarana yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan ikan pada lokasi tertentu di perairan. Pemantauan suhu air pada rumah ikan masih banyak dilakukan secara langsung sehingga kurang efisien, terutama pada lokasi yang jauh dari daratan dan memiliki keterbatasan jaringan komunikasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem yang mampu melakukan pemantauan suhu air serta mengirimkan data hasil pengukuran secara nirkabel. Tujuan pengembangan produk adalah mengembangkan model sistem pemantauan suhu air pada rumah ikan (rumpon) berbasis LoRa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan V-Model yang meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, perancangan modul, perancangan arsitektur, pemrograman, pengujian unit, pengujian integrasi, pengujian sistem, dan pengujian penerimaan. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan sensor suhu DS18B20, mikrokontroler ESP32, dan modul LoRa RA-02 SX1278 sebagai media komunikasi antara transmitter dan receiver. Sistem juga dilengkapi dengan sensor ultrasonik DYP-L04 1MTW, motor servo MG996R, LCD 16×2, buzzer, serta visualisasi menyerupai radar sebagai bagian dari integrasi sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sensor DS18B20 memiliki rata-rata error sebesar 0,31% dengan akurasi 99,69%, sedangkan komunikasi LoRa berhasil mengirimkan data hingga jarak 350 Mhz dengan nilai RSSI rata-rata berkisar antara -101 dBm hingga -111 dBm. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, model sistem pemantauan suhu air pada rumah ikan (rumpon) berbasis LoRa berhasil dikembangkan menggunakan V-Model dan seluruh komponen sistem dapat berfungsi secara terintegrasi sesuai dengan tujuan pengembangan. Kata kunci: Rumpon, LoRa, DS18B20, DYP-L04 1MTW, V-Model. ***** Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) are widely used to attract and concentrate fish in specific marine areas. Water temperature monitoring around FADs is commonly performed through direct observation, which is less efficient, particularly in locations far from the shoreline with limited communication infrastructure. Therefore, a system capable of monitoring water temperature and transmitting measurement data wirelessly is required. This study aimed to develop a LoRa-based water temperature monitoring system model for Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs). The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the V-Model development approach, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, module design, architectural design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing. The developed system utilizes a DS18B20 temperature sensor, an ESP32 microcontroller, and a LoRa RA-02 SX1278 module for wireless communication between the transmitter and receiver. The prototype is also equipped with a DYP-L04 1MTW ultrasonic sensor, an MG996R servo motor, a 16×2 LCD, a buzzer, and a radar-like visualization as supporting components of the integrated system. The testing results showed that the DS18B20 sensor achieved an average error of 0.31% with an accuracy of 99.69%, while LoRa communication successfully transmitted data up to 350 meters with average RSSI values ranging from -101 dBm to -111 dBm. The results indicate that the proposed LoRa-based water temperature monitoring system model for Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) was successfully developed using the V-Model, and all system components operated in an integrated manner according to the intended development objectives.
