Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persentase lemak tubuh dan daya ledak otot tungkai terhadap kecepatan lari 100 meter pada KOP Atletik UNJ usia 18–25 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 17 atlet atletik yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengukuran persentase lemak tubuh menggunakan Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA), pengukuran daya ledak otot tungkai menggunakan tes Vertical Jump, serta pengukuran kecepatan lari 100 meter menggunakan stopwatch. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 setelah memenuhi uji persyaratan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan dan positif secara parsial antara persentase lemak tubuh dengan kecepatan lari 100 meter (Sig. = 0,008 < 0,05), yang berarti semakin tinggi persentase lemak tubuh, waktu tempuh lari akan semakin lama (makin lambat). Sementara itu, terdapat hubungan signifikan dan negatif secara parsial antara daya ledak otot tungkai dengan kecepatan lari 100 meter (Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05), yang berarti semakin tinggi daya ledak otot tungkai, waktu tempuh lari semakin berkurang (makin cepat). Secara simultan, terdapat hubungan signifikan yang sangat kuat antara persentase lemak tubuh dan daya ledak otot tungkai terhadap kecepatan lari 100 meter (Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05; R = 0,819). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase lemak tubuh dan daya ledak otot tungkai secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 67,0% terhadap performa kecepatan lari 100 meter pada atlet atletik usia 18–25 tahun, sedangkan 33,0% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian ini. ***** This study aims to determine the relationship between body fat percentage and leg muscle explosive power on 100-meter sprint speed in KOP Atletik UNJ aged 18–25 years. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research sample consisted of 17 track and field athletes selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by measuring body fat percentage using Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA), measuring leg muscle explosive power using the Vertical Jump test, and measuring 100-meter sprint speed using a stopwatch. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics which included normality test, linearity test, and multiple linear regression analysis with a significance level of 0.05 after meeting the analysis prerequisite tests. The results showed that there is a significant and positive partial relationship between body fat percentage and 100-meter sprint speed (Sig. = 0.008 < 0.05), meaning that a higher body fat percentage results in a longer travel time (slower sprint). Meanwhile, there is a significant and negative partial relationship between leg muscle explosive power and 100-meter sprint speed (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), meaning that higher leg muscle explosive power results in a decreased travel time (faster sprint). Simultaneously, there is a very strong and significant relationship between body fat percentage and leg muscle explosive power on 100-meter sprint speed (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05; R = 0.819). Based on these results, it can be concluded that body fat percentage and leg muscle explosive power simultaneously contribute 67.0% to the 100-meter sprint speed performance in track and field athletes aged 18–25 years, while the remaining 33.0% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.
