Abstract

Rendahnya keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan berpotensi memengaruhi proses sosialisasi anak dan perkembangan perilaku sosial siswa. Dalam perspektif Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn), perilaku sosial merupakan wujud internalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara partisipasi ayah dalam keluarga (father involvement) dengan perilaku sosial siswa di SMP Negeri 14 Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 489 siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan IX, dengan sampel sebanyak 220 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel father involvement diukur berdasarkan aspek engagement, accessibility, dan responsibility, sedangkan perilaku sosial diukur berdasarkan konsep perilaku prososial dan antisosial menurut Hurlock. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment, regresi linear sederhana, serta koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara father involvement dengan perilaku sosial siswa. Uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment menghasilkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,450 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan hubungan pada kategori sedang. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,203 menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi ayah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 20,3% terhadap perilaku sosial siswa, sedangkan 79,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi keterlibatan ayah dalam kehidupan anak, semakin baik perilaku sosial yang ditunjukkan siswa di lingkungan sekolah. Oleh karena itu, partisipasi ayah perlu ditingkatkan sebagai salah satu upaya mendukung pembentukan karakter dan perilaku sosial peserta didik. *** Low levels of father involvement in child-rearing have the potential to influence children’s socialization process and students’ social behavior development. From the perspective of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn), social behavior is a manifestation of the internalization of Pancasila values in school life. This study aims to analyze the relationship between father involvement in the family and students’ social behavior at SMP Negeri 14 Jakarta. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study population consisted of 489 students in grades VII, VIII, and IX, with a sample of 220 students selected using purposive sampling. The variable of father involvement was measured based on the aspects of engagement, accessibility, and responsibility, while social behavior was measured based on Hurlock’s concepts of prosocial and antisocial behavior. Data were collected via a questionnaire and analyzed using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test, simple linear regression, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate a positive and significant relationship between father involvement and students’ social behavior. The Pearson product-moment correlation test yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.450 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a moderate relationship. The coefficient of determination (R-squared) value of 0.203 indicates that father involvement contributes 20.3% to social behavior
