Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis profil literasi kimia peserta didik kelas XI pada materi asam basa dengan menggunakan pendekatan Context-Based Learning (CBL) yang terintegrasi dengan strategi REACT. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Diponegoro 1 Jakarta dengan melibatkan 31 peserta didik kelas XI-2 sebagai subjek. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, refleksi, wawancara, dan tes literasi kimia. Hasil analisis memetakan kecenderungan positif pada literasi kimia peserta didik. Secara rinci, sebagian besar peserta didik menempati level literasi tinggi, yakni 48,39% conceptual and procedural scientific literacy dan 41,94% pada tingkat multidimensional scientific literacy. Selain itu, tidak ditemukan satu pun peserta didik pada level scientific illiteracy. Temuan ini juga mendeskripsikan bahwa integrasi CBL dengan REACT mampu memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam mengaitkan konsep kimia yang abstrak dengan fenomena di kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, pendekatan CBL-REACT ini mampu membantu peserta didik untuk menghubungkan konsep kimia dengan fenomena kontekstual, menumbuhkan literasi kimia, serta mendorong pergeseran pola belajar dari pasif menjadi pemahaman yang lebih kontekstual. *** This study aims to describe and analyze the chemical literacy profile of Grade XI students on acid base material using a Context-Based Learning (CBL) approach integrated with REACT strategy. The research was conducted at SMA Diponegoro 1 Jakarta, involving 31 students form class XI-2 as subjects. Data were collected through observation, reflection, interviews, and chemical literacy tests. The analysis revealed a positive trend in students chemical literacy. Specifically, the majority of students achieved high literacy levels, with 48,39% reaching conceptual and procedural scientific literacy and 41,94% attaining multidimensional scientific literacy. Furthermore, no students were found at the scientific illiteracy level. These findings also demonstrate that the integration of CBL with REACT effectively facilitated students in connecting abstract chemical concepts to real-life phenomena. Thus, the CBL-REACT approach successfully helped students link chemical concepts to contextual phenomena, fostered chemical literacy development, and encouraged a shift in learning patterns from passive reception toward more applicative understanding.
