Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola sebaran keterserapan lulusan SMK bidang keahlian Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) di zona komersil Kotamadya Jakarta Utara dengan memetakan pola persebaran spasial lokasi kerja lulusan. Dengan berkembangnya ekonomi kreatif di kawasaan perkotaan, Jakarta Utara menjadi salah satu lokasi penting karena banyaknya zona komersil yang aktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada lulusan SMK Negeri 36 dan SMK Hang Tuah 1 di Jakarta Utara. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif untuk menilai tingkat keterserapan dan menggunakan analisis tetangga terdekat (Nearest Neighbor Analysis) dengan bantuan software sistem informasi geografis (ArcGis) untuk menentukan pola penyebaran lokasi kerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keterserapan lulusan SMK DKV di Jakarta Utara cukup baik, dengan sebagian besar lulusan berhasil mendapatkan pekerjaan dalam waktu kurang tiga bulan. Hasil dari analisis spasial NNA (Nearest Neighbor Analysis) menunjukkan nilai Nearest Neighbor Ratio sebesar 0,979 dan z-score sebesar -0,161102, yang mengartikan bahwa penyebaran lokasi kerja lulusan di Jakarta Utara bersifat acak. Pola ini menunjukkan bahwa kesempatan kerja untuk lulusan di bidang ekonomi kreatif tersebar merata di seluruh zona komersil yang ada di Jakarta Utara dan tidak terkonsentrasi di satu titik klaster industri tertentu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa jumlah area komersil yang ada di Jakarta utara terkait erat denagan peluang penyerapan tenaga kerja kreatif. ***** This study aims to analyze the distribution pattern of employment absorption for vocational high school (SMK) graduates specializing in Visual Communication Design (DKV) within the commercial zones of North Jakarta Municipality by mapping the spatial distribution of their workplaces. With the growth of the creative economy in urban areas, North Jakarta has emerged as a significant location due to its numerous active commercial zones. This study employs a quantitative descriptive research method. Data were collected via questionnaires distributed to graduates of SMK Negeri 36 and SMK Hang Tuah 1 in North Jakarta. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics to assess absorption rates and Nearest Neighbor Analysis—facilitated by Geographic Information System (GIS) software (ArcGIS)—to determine workplace distribution patterns. The results indicate a favorable absorption rate for DKV vocational graduates in North Jakarta, with the majority securing employment within three months. The spatial analysis (Nearest Neighbor Analysis) yielded a Nearest Neighbor Ratio of 0.979 and a z-score of 0.161102, signifying a random distribution of graduates' workplaces across North Jakarta. This pattern suggests that employment opportunities for graduates in the creative economy sector are evenly distributed across the commercial zones of North Jakarta rather than being concentrated in a single industrial cluster. The study concludes that the number of commercial areas in North Jakarta is closely linked to opportunities for creative workforce absorption.
