Abstract
Pompa sentrifugal merupakan peralatan utama dalam sistem industri yang berfungsi memindahkan fluida serta menjaga kontinuitas proses produksi, namun dalam operasinya sering mengalami gangguan mekanis seperti kerusakan bearing, misalignment, unbalance, dan kegagalan sistem pelumasan yang dapat memicu peningkatan vibrasi, penurunan performa, hingga downtime, sehingga berpotensi mengganggu keandalan peralatan. Oleh karena itu, analisis vibrasi menjadi metode penting dalam penerapan predictive maintenance untuk mendeteksi kerusakan sejak dini sebelum berkembang menjadi kegagalan yang lebih serius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi aktual pompa sentrifugal multistage 052-P-101B di PT Pertamina Patra Niaga RU VI Balongan berdasarkan data vibrasi, mengidentifikasi jenis gangguan mekanis yang terjadi, menyusun rekomendasi maintenance yang tepat, serta memvalidasi kondisi struktural melalui simulasi frekuensi natural. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui condition monitoring, dengan menganalisis parameter overall vibration (velocity), Peakvue, spektrum frekuensi, serta tren getaran pada periode Oktober 2025 hingga Maret 2026 yang dibandingkan dengan standar ISO 10816 berguna menentukan tingkat keparahan getaran pada pompa sentrifugal. Selain itu, analisis akar penyebab dilakukan menggunakan diagram fishbone, sedangkan simulasi frekuensi natural dan modus getar dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak SolidWorks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai overall velocity dan Peakvue pada beberapa titik pengukuran mengalami peningkatan dan mendekati batas alert, dengan indikasi gangguan berupa unbalance, misalignment, dan mechanical looseness, serta indikasi kerusakan awal bearing akibat kegagalan pelumasan yang memicu overheating pada bearing. Hasil simulasi SolidWorks menunjukkan adanya potensi resonansi apabila frekuensi operasi mendekati frekuensi natural sistem pompa. Rekomendasi perawatan yang diusulkan meliputi balancing, realignment, pemeriksaan bearing, serta evaluasi sistem pelumasan guna meningkatkan keandalan pompa. ***** Centrifugal pumps are key components in industrial systems, serving to transfer fluids and ensure the continuity of production processes. However, during operation, they often experience mechanical issues such as bearing damage, misalignment, imbalance, and lubrication system failures, which can lead to increased vibration, reduced performance, and even downtime, thereby potentially compromising the equipment’s reliability. Therefore, vibration analysis is an important method in the implementation of predictive maintenance to detect damage early on before it develops into a more serious failure. This study aims to analyze the actual condition of the 052-P-101B multistage centrifugal pump at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga RU VI Balongan based on vibration data, identifying the types of mechanical failures that occur, developing appropriate maintenance recommendations, and validating structural conditions through natural frequency simulations. The methods used are quantitative and qualitative approaches via condition monitoring, by analyzing overall vibration parameters (velocity), Peakvue, frequency spectra, and vibration trends during the period from October 2025 to March 2026 When compared to the ISO 10816 standard, this is useful for determining the severity of vibration in centrifugal pumps. In addition, root cause analysis was performed using a fishbone diagram, while simulations of natural frequencies and vibration modes were conducted using SolidWorks software. The research results show that the overall velocity and Peakvue values at several measurement points have increased and are approaching the alert threshold, with indications of issues such as imbalance, misalignment, and mechanical looseness, as well as indications of early bearing damage due to lubrication failure, which causes the bearings to overheat. SolidWorks simulation results indicate the potential for resonance when the operating frequency approaches the natural frequency of the pump system. The proposed maintenance recommendations include balancing, realignment, bearing inspection, and evaluation of the lubrication system to improve pump reliability.
