Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan Modul Eksperimen Gas Ideal dengan Pendekatan STEM berbantuan Data Logger sebagai media pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dibatasi sampai pada tahap Development. Produk dirancang dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan akan media eksperimen yang dapat memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak gas ideal melalui pengambilan data secara digital. Pada tahap Analysis, dilakukan studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru serta siswa terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi data logger dalam eksperimen fisika. Selanjutnya, tahap Design menghasilkan rancangan modul yang mengintegrasikan aspek Science, Technology, Engineering, dan Mathematics (STEM), serta pengembangan instrumen uji ahli. Pada tahap Development, dilakukan proses pembuatan modul, pengujian skala laboratorium menggunakan perangkat Max A1 Data Logger, serta validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil uji ahli menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan siap digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, hasil uji coba pengguna menyatakan bahwa modul ini mempermudah siswa dalam memahami hubungan variabel tekanan, volume, dan suhu secara akurat. Oleh karena itu, Modul Eksperimen Gas Ideal yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran dan dapat digunakan sebagai inovasi media eksperimen di sekolah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbantuan teknologi data logger lainnya yang lebih interaktif dan efektif.*****This study aimed to develop and evaluate the feasibility of an Ideal Gas Experiment Module with a STEM approach assisted by a Data Logger as a physics learning medium. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE instructional design model, limited to the Development stage. The product was designed to address the need for an experimental learning medium capable of visualizing the abstract concepts of ideal gases through digital data acquisition. During the Analysis stage, a literature review was conducted to identify the needs of teachers and students regarding the use of data logger technology in physics experiments. The Design stage produced a module integrating the aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), as well as the development of expert validation instruments. During the Development stage, the module was developed, tested on a laboratory scale using the Max A1 Data Logger, and validated by subject matter and media experts. The expert validation results indicated that the developed product was highly feasible and ready to be implemented in physics learning. In addition, the user trial results showed that the module helped students understand the relationships among pressure, volume, and temperature accurately. Therefore, the developed Ideal Gas Experiment Module meets the needs of physics instruction and can serve as an innovative experimental learning medium in schools. This study is expected to provide a reference for the development of other technology-assisted learning media utilizing data loggers that are more interactive and effective.
