Abstract

Kartika Dewi. Pengaruh Kompetensi terhadap Etos Kerja Guru Sosiologi di Kota Bogor. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2026. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap etos kerja guru Sosiologi di Kota Bogor. Etos kerja guru berperan penting dalam menentukan konsistensi dan tanggung jawab guru dalam menjalankan tugas pembelajaran, sementara di sisi lain kompetensi guru di Indonesia masih belum sepenuhnya optimal, di mana sekitar 81% guru belum mencapai nilai minimum Uji Kompetensi Guru (UKG), serta masih terdapat kesenjangan antara jumlah guru yang tersedia dan kebutuhan ideal secara nasional. Kondisi ini mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan antara standar yang diharapkan dengan realitas yang terjadi, yang berpotensi memengaruhi etos kerja guru dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, yang dilaksanakan pada periode Desember 2025 hingga Juli 2026. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah Kompetensi Guru (X), dan variabel terikatnya adalah Etos Kerja Guru (Y). Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru Sosiologi di Kota Bogor sebanyak 57 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis (normalitas, homoskedastisitas, dan linearitas) serta uji regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan Microsoft Excel dan IBM SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kompetensi guru terhadap etos kerja guru Sosiologi di Kota Bogor. Setelah dilakukan penanganan outlier, data yang dianalisis berjumlah 56 responden. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kompetensi guru terhadap etos kerja guru Sosiologi di Kota Bogor, dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 11,324 lebih besar dari t tabel 1,674 pada signifikansi 0,000. Persamaan regresi Y = 16,445 + 0,946X menunjukkan hubungan positif antara kedua variabel, dengan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,704, yang berarti kompetensi guru berkontribusi sebesar 70,4% terhadap etos kerja guru Sosiologi di Kota Bogor. Semakin tinggi kompetensi yang dimiliki guru, semakin tinggi pula etos kerja yang ditunjukkannya dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai pendidik. This study aims to analyze the influence of teacher competence on the work ethic of sociology teachers in Bogor City. Teachers' work ethic plays an important role in determining the consistency and responsibility of teachers in carrying out their teaching duties, while on the other hand, teacher competence in Indonesia has not yet reached an optimal level, with approximately 81% of teachers failing to meet the minimum standard in the Teacher Competency Test (UKG), and there is still a gap between the number of available teachers and the ideal national requirement. This condition indicates a discrepancy between expected standards and actual conditions, which has the potential to affect teachers' work ethic in carrying out their duties. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, conducted from December 2025 to July 2026. The independent variable in this study is Teacher Competence Level (X), and the dependent variable is Teachers' Work Ethic Level (Y). The population of this study consists of all 57 sociology teachers in Bogor City, using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using prerequisite tests (normality, homoscedasticity, and linearity) and simple linear regression analysis, supported by Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS version 26. The results show that there is a significant influence of teacher competence on the work ethic of sociology teachers in Bogor City. After outlier treatment, the data analyzed consisted of 56 respondents. The hypothesis testing result shows that there is a significant influence of teacher competence level on the work ethic level of sociology teachers in Bogor City, with a t value of 11.324, which is greater than the t table value of 1.674, at a significance level of 0.000. The regression equation Y = 16.445 + 0.946X indicates a positive relationship between the two variables, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.704, meaning that teacher competence contributes 70.4% to the work ethic of sociology teachers in Bogor City. The higher the competence possessed by a teacher, the higher the work ethic shown in carrying out their duties as an educator. Keywords: Teacher Competence, Work Ethic, Sociology Teachers
