Abstract
Konsep gerak peluru sering dianggap sulit oleh peserta didik karena bersifat abstrak serta kurangnya media pembelajaran yang mampu mendukung visualisasi konsep secara nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat peraga gerak peluru sebagai media pembelajaran fisika yang dapat membantu peserta didik memahami konsep gerak peluru secara lebih konkret. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang dibatasi hingga tahap 3D, yaitu Define, Design, dan Develop, tanpa melanjutkan ke tahap Disseminate. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi validasi materi dan media oleh para ahli serta uji coba terbatas kepada peserta didik. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga yang dikembangkan memperoleh tingkat validasi sebesar 75% dari ahli materi dengan kategori “valid” dan 93,75% dari ahli media dengan kategori “sangat valid”. Uji coba dilakukan di SMAN 11 Jakarta terhadap 15 peserta didik kelas XI. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan persentase sebesar 86,6% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga yang dikembangkan memperoleh respons positif dari peserta didik serta mampu membantu memahami konsep gerak peluru secara lebih konkret. Dengan demikian, alat peraga gerak peluru yang dikembangkan valid untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika pada materi gerak peluru. ***** The concept of projectile motion is often considered difficult by students because it is abstract and there is a lack of learning materials that can effectively visualize the concept. This study aims to develop a projectile motion demonstration tool as a physics learning medium that can help students understand the concept of projectile motion more concretely. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model limited to the 3D stage—Define, Design, and Develop—without proceeding to the Disseminate stage. Data collection techniques include validation of the material and media by experts as well as limited testing with students. The validation results showed that the developed teaching aid received a validation rate of 75% from content experts, categorized as “valid,” and 93.75% from media experts, categorized as “highly valid.” The pilot test was conducted at SMAN 11 Jakarta with 15 eleventh-grade students. The results indicated a percentage of 86.6%, categorized as “very good.” These results indicate that the developed teaching aid received a positive response from students and was able to help them understand the concept of projectile motion more concretely. Thus, the developed projectile motion teaching aid is valid for use as a physics learning medium for the topic of projectile motion.
