Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan RENEWBOT sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis STEM pada materi energi terbarukan yang valid, layak, dan mampu mendukung peningkatan pemahaman konsep murid. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan mixed methods yang mengintegrasikan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dalam proses pengembangan serta evaluasi produk. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Produk yang dihasilkan berupa media pembelajaran berbasis website yang mengintegrasikan materi interaktif, video pembelajaran, simulasi, latihan soal, proyek STEM, serta chatbot berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) sebagai fitur pendukung pembelajaran. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli pembelajaran, kemudian media diimplementasikan kepada 66 murid kelas X di salah satu SMA Negeri di Jakarta Utara melalui kegiatan pretest pembelajaran menggunakan RENEWBOT, posttest, dan pengisian angket respons pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RENEWBOT memperoleh kategori sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian para ahli, memperoleh respons murid dengan kategori sangat baik, serta menghasilkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,81 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, RENEWBOT dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan serta mampu mendukung peningkatan pemahaman konsep murid pada materi energi terbarukan sehingga dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran berbasis STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika di tingkat SMA. (*****) This study aimed to develop RENEWBOT, a STEM-based learning media for renewable energy topics that is valid, feasible, and capable of supporting students' conceptual understanding. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with a mixed methods approach, integrating qualitative and quantitative data throughout the product development and evaluation processes. The development process followed the ADDIE model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The resulting product is a web-based learning media integrating interactive learning materials, instructional videos, simulations, practice exercises, STEM projects, and an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based chatbot as a supporting learning feature. The product was validated by subject matter experts, media experts, and learning experts before being implemented with 66 tenth-grade students at a public senior high school in North Jakarta. The implementation included a pretest, learning activities using RENEWBOT, a posttest, and a student response questionnaire. The results indicated that RENEWBOT achieved a very valid category based on expert validation, received very good responses from students, and produced an average N-Gain score of 0.81, which falls into the high category. These findings indicate that RENEWBOT is valid and feasible for classroom use and has the potential to support students' conceptual understanding of renewable energy topics. Therefore, RENEWBOT can serve as an innovative STEM-based learning media to support physics learning at the senior high school level.
