Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari keterlibatan ayah terhadap trust in close relationship pada wanita emerging adulthood (18-25 tahun) yang sedang atau pernah menjalin hubungan romantis (pacaran) dengan lawan jenis (laki-laki). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 312. Keterlibatan ayah diukur dengan menggunakan instrumen Father Involvement Scale (Reported) dari Finley dan Schwartz (2004) yang telah diadaptasi dan dimodifikasi oleh Salma Az Zhafirah (2025). Trust in Close Relationship diukur dengan menggunakan instrumen Trust in Close Relationship Scale dari Rempel, Holmes, dan Zanna (1985) yang telah diadaptasi oleh Nadyne Auryn Sabrina (2025). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dari keterlibatan ayah terhadap trust in close relationship pada wanita emerging adulthood yang sedang atau pernah berpacaran (B = 0,103; Sig. = 0,028; R² = 0,015). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi keterlibatan ayah maka akan semakin tinggi trust in close relationship pada anak perempuan saat menjalin hubungan pacaran di periode emerging adulthood. ***** This study aims to examine the influence of father involvement on trust in close relationships among women in emerging adulthood (ages 18–25) who are currently in or have previously been in romantic relationships (dating) with men. This study employs a quantitative research design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 312. Father involvement was measured using the Father Involvement Scale (Reported) by Finley and Schwartz (2004), which was adapted and modified by Salma Az Zhafirah (2025). Trust in Close Relationships was measured using the Trust in Close Relationships Scale by Rempel, Holmes, and Zanna (1985), which was adapted by Nadyne Auryn Sabrina (2025). The results of this study indicate a positive influence of father involvement on trust in close relationships among women in emerging adulthood who are currently or have previously been in a romantic relationship (B = 0.103; Sig. = 0.028; R² = 0.015). These findings suggest that the higher the level of father involvement, the higher the level of trust in close relationships among young women when entering romantic relationships during the emerging adulthood period.
