Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan earphone saat berkendara terhadap kepatuhan terhadap Pasal 106 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKN) Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2022–2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian eksplanatori. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap Tahun Akademik 2025/2026, yaitu selama periode Februari hingga Juni 2026. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 150 mahasiswa dengan sampel sebanyak 60 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dan dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, regresi linear sederhana, uji t, dan uji koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan earphone saat berkendara berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepatuhan terhadap Pasal 106 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,027 (p < 0,05). Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,081 menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan earphone memberikan kontribusi sebesar 8,1% terhadap kepatuhan, sedangkan 91,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penggunaan earphone saat berkendara merupakan salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat kepatuhan mahasiswa terhadap ketentuan Pasal 106 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, meskipun kontribusinya relatif rendah. **** This study aims to analyze the effect of earphone use while driving on compliance with Article 106 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation among students of the Civic Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Class of 2022–2023. This study employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory research design. The research was conducted during the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, from February to June 2026. The study population consisted of 150 students, with a sample of 60 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and selected through the simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, normality and linearity tests, simple linear regression analysis, the t-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that earphone use while driving had a negative and statistically significant effect on compliance with Article 106 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, with a significance value of 0.027 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.081, indicating that earphone use contributed 8.1% to the level of compliance, while the remaining 91.9% was influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. These findings indicate that earphone use while driving is one of the factors affecting students' compliance with the provisions of Article 106 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, although its contribution is relatively small.
