Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang, menguji, dan mengembangkan model alat latihan interaktif guna mengukur sekaligus meningkatkan kecepatan serta ketepatan waktu reaksi pukulan depan pada peserta Ekstrakurikuler Pencak Silat SMP YPI Pulogadung. Pendekatan berbasis teknologi ini dihadirkan untuk memberikan solusi atas terbatasnya media evaluasi konvensional yang cenderung objektifitasnya kurang terukur dalam memantau perkembangan fisik dan teknik para pesilat secara presisi. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan fokus merancang alat latihan fisik yang terintegrasi. Alat ini mengadopsi sistem penilaian Simple Reaction Test (SRT) yang memanfaatkan stimulus sinyal visual untuk memicu respons pukulan pesilat secara langsung. Sistem elektronik pada alat akan menghitung secara otomatis dan akurat interval waktu antara kemunculan sinyal stimulus hingga terjadi respons kontak fisik pukulan pada target. Proses pengujian dan implementasi instrumen ini dilaksanakan pada kegiatan rutin ekstrakurikuler pencak silat di SMP YPI Pulogadung untuk menguji tingkat kelayakan, kepraktisan, serta efektivitasnya dalam skenario latihan harian. Penelitian ini berhasil merancang dan mewujudkan produk inovatif berupa alat ukur berbasis teknologi yang dinamakan Visio-Strike. Hasil pengujian mengindikasikan bahwa Visio-Strike mampu merekam data waktu reaksi serta kecepatan pukulan depan secara akurat, realistis, dan terandalkan. Kehadiran alat ini terbukti efektif menjadi media latihan yang interaktif sekaligus alat evaluasi objektif bagi pelatih untuk meningkatkan performa pukulan depan pesilat di SMP YPI Pulogadung. ***** This study aims to design, test, and develop a model of interactive training tools to measure and improve the speed and timeliness of the forehand reaction in extracurricular participants of Pencak Silat Junior High School YPI Pulogadung. This technology-based approach is presented to provide a solution to the limitations of conventional evaluation media that tend to be less measurable in monitoring the physical and technical development of fighters precisely. This study applies the method of Development (Research and Development) with a focus on designing integrated physical exercise equipment. This tool adopts a simple Reaction Test (SRT) assessment system that utilizes visual signal stimuli to trigger the fighter's punch response directly. The electronic system of the device will automatically and accurately calculate the time interval between the appearance of the stimulus signal until the physical contact response of the blow to the target occurs. The process of testing and implementation of this instrument was carried out in routine extracurricular activities of pencak silat at YPI Pulogadung junior high school to test the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness in daily practice scenarios. This research succeeded in designing and realizing an innovative product in the form of a technology-based measuring instrument called Visio-Strike. Test results indicate that Visio-Strike is able to accurately, realistically, and reliably record reaction time and frontal speed data. The presence of this tool proved to be effective as an interactive exercise media as well as an objective evaluation tool for coaches to improve the performance of front-line fighters at YPI Pulogadung Junior High School.
