Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi manajemen event UI Pickleball Championship 2026 yang diselenggarakan oleh Komunitas Pickleball Universitass Indonesia menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) dari Stufflebeam. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada pertumbuhan pesat pickleball di Indonesia dan minimnya kajian sistematis terhadap kualitas tata kelola event olahraga rekreasi berbasis komunitas kampus. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam terhadap 16 informan yang terdiri atas ketua komunitas, ketua panitia, koordinator divisi, dan peserta event. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) dimensi Context mengindikasikan keselarasan visi-misi komunitas dengan kebutuhan lingkungan kampus, meski belum dituangkan dalam dokumen formal, (2) dimensi Input menunjukkan perencanaan sumber daya yang cukup sistematis dengan diversifikasi pendanaan dari sponsorship, biaya pendaftaran, dan subsidi Universitass, meskipun proporsi anggaran belum didokumentasikan secara konsisten, (3) dimensi Process menunjukkan tingkat kesesuaian pelaksanaan dengan rundown mencapai 90% dengan respons darurat yang responsif, namun mekanisme pengawasan masih bersifat informal, (4) dimensi Product menunjukkan tercapainya tujuan program yang ditandai oleh peningkatan anggota baru sebesar 200% pasca-event dan tingkat kepuasan peserta yang tinggi. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen event berjalan efektif pada keempat dimensi CIPP, dengan rekomendasi utama pada formalisasi dokumentasi dan penguatan mekanisme evaluasi yang terstruktur. The research is grounded in the rapid growth of pickleball in Indonesia and the lack of systematic academic studies on the quality of event management in campus-based recreational sports communities. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with in-depth interviews conducted with 16 informants comprising the community leader, event committee chairperson, division coordinators, and event participants. The findings indicate: (1) the Context dimension reflects strong alignment between the community's vision-mission and campus environmental needs, although these have not been formalized in official documents, (2) the Input dimension reveals sufficiently systematic resource planning with diversified funding from sponsorship, registration fees, and university subsidies, though budget proportions lacked consistent documentation across informants, (3) the Process dimension demonstrates approximately 90% conformity between actual execution and the planned rundown, with responsive emergency handling, yet monitoring mechanisms remained largely informal and instrument-free, (4) the Product dimension confirms the achievement of program objectives, evidenced by a 200% increase in new member registrations post-event and consistently high participant satisfaction. The study concludes that event management was effective across all four CIPP dimensions, with key recommendations directed at formalizing documentation and strengthening structured evaluation mechanisms.
