Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji prototipe alat deteksi indikasi aktivitas merokok pada area luar toilet sekolah menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32-Cam. Alat ini dikembangkan untuk mendeteksi nilai respons sensor gas MQ-2 terhadap paparan asap pada skenario uji serta mendeteksi gerakan objek sekaligus menangkap dokumentasi gambar skenario uji saat kondisi terpenuhi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model V yang mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, perancangan arsitektur, perancangan modul, pemrograman, pengujian unit, pengujian integrasi, pengujian sistem, dan pengujian penerimaan. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan sensor MQ-2 untuk mendeteksi adanya respons asap pada skenario uji, sensor PIR HC-SR501 untuk mendeteksi gerakan objek pada area uji guna meminimalisir false-alarm, dan LCD serta Buzzer sebagai media peringatan lokal. Selain itu, Bot Telegram digunakan sebagai media penerima notifikasi peringatan jarak jauh berupa pesan teks dan dokumentasi gambar skenario uji. Hasil pengujian integrasi menunjukkan 5 data TP, 15 data TN, 0 data FP, dan 0 data FN, sehingga diperoleh akurasi sistem 100 persen dan error rate 0 persen berdasarkan pada 20 kali pengujian terbatas pada lingkungan maket dan bukan pada toilet sekolah nyata. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian sistem, integrasi seluruh komponen menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengidentifikasi kondisi pemicu sistem sesuai skenario secara fungsional, serta berhasil mengirimkan notifikasi peringatan beserta gambar ke Telegram dengan baik. Kesimpulannya, prototipe ini berhasil dirancang dan berfungsi dengan baik untuk mendeteksi indikasi aktivitas merokok pada maket toilet sekolah secara jarak jauh. ***** This study aims to design and build a prototype device for indications of smoking activity in the outdoor area of school toilets using an ESP32-Cam microcontroller. This device was developed to detect the response values of the MQ-2 gas sensor to smoke exposure in test scenarios, as well as to detect object movement while simultaneously capturing image documentation of the test scenario when the trigger conditions are met. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a V-model approach, covering the stages of requirements analysis, system design, architecture design, module design, programming, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing. This system integrates an MQ-2 sensor to detect the presence of smoke response in test scenarios, a PIR HC-SR501 sensor to detect object movement in the test area in order to minimize false alarms, and an LCD and buzzer as local warning media. In addition, a Telegram Bot is used as a remote alert notification medium in the form of text messages and image documentation of the test scenario. The integration testing results show 5 TP data, 15 TN data, 0 FP data, and 0 FN data, resulting in a system accuracy of 100 percent and an error rate of 0 percent across 20 tests limited to a mock-up environment rather than an actual school toilet. Based on the system testing results, the integration of all components shows that the system is able to functionally identify trigger conditions according to the scenario, and successfully sends warning notifications along with images to Telegram in a responsive and stable manner. In conclusion, this prototype was successfully designed and functioned according to the predefined system logic to remotely detect indications of smoking activity in a school toilet mock-up.
