Abstract

Digitalisasi pelatihan di lingkungan industri diperlukan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan pelatihan tatap muka, perbedaan lokasi dan jadwal kerja peserta, serta belum terintegrasinya pengelolaan materi, aktivitas, evaluasi, dan dokumentasi hasil pelatihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Moodle yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan instruktur dan peserta pelatihan di lingkungan industri. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan melalui observasi dan Training Need Analysis terhadap 10 instruktur dan 21 calon peserta pelatihan. Produk yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli media dan diuji secara terbatas kepada 14 pekerja di PT. Nusa Krantechnik Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa instruktur memprioritaskan fitur informasi pelatihan, pengelolaan data peserta, materi berdasarkan topik, instruksi kerja digital, rekap nilai, laporan hasil pelatihan, dan pemantauan progres. Sementara itu, calon peserta memprioritaskan modul digital, akses melalui smartphone, tahapan pelatihan, media visual, forum dengan instruktur, dan umpan balik. Produk LMS yang dikembangkan memperoleh hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 96% dan hasil uji kelayakan pengguna sebesar 92,28%, yang keduanya termasuk kategori sangat layak. Penelitian ini menghasilkan LMS berbasis Moodle yang dapat mendukung pelatihan industri agar lebih terstruktur, fleksibel, mudah diakses, dan terdokumentasi. Produk yang dihasilkan juga dapat menjadi alternatif sistem pengelolaan pelatihan digital serta menjadi dasar pengembangan pelatihan berbasis kompetensi dan pemantauan progres peserta di lingkungan industri./*****The digitalization of industrial training is necessary to address the limitations of face-to-face training, differences in participants’ work locations and schedules, and the lack of integration in managing learning materials, activities, assessments, and training documentation. This study aimed to develop a Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) that meets the needs of instructors and training participants in an industrial environment. The study employed the Research and Development method using the 4D development model, consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. A needs analysis was conducted through observation and Training Need Analysis involving 10 instructors and 21 prospective training participants. The developed product was validated by a media expert and tested on a limited scale with 14 employees at PT Nusa Krantechnik Indonesia. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive percentage statistics. The needs analysis results indicated that instructors prioritized training information, participant data management, topic-based materials, digital work instructions, automated score recapitulation, training reports, and progress monitoring. Meanwhile, prospective participants prioritized digital modules, smartphone access, structured training stages, visual learning media, discussion forums with instructors, and feedback. The developed LMS obtained a media expert validation score of 96% and a user feasibility score of 92.28%, both of which were categorized as highly feasible. This study produced a Moodle-based LMS that can support industrial training by making it more structured, flexible, accessible, and well documented. The product can also serve as an alternative digital training management system and as a foundation for developing competency-based training and participant progress monitoring in industrial settings.
